"really like I" is incorrect English. Maybe "really like me"?
HuniePop has that, or are we talking about a different kind of lay?

I did change his quote to place the "I" where it should have gone, you know :-p
really hoping it arrives never ^^ (just my personal opinion ) - i know i can always play the games without using galaxy so i wouldn't have to worry about the overlay but right now i actually like using galaxy bc it's still so lightweight and offers some comfort options but ya want it to stay lightweight and not overloaded - so ya for me galaxy is fine as it is right now (i'm one of the lucky guys who didn't experience a single bug with Galaxy yet) and well if it gets too many features i will stop using it - don't want a second overloaded client like steam on my system

Well, now that I finally understood your question, I'd say Petrell has the answer.

GOG staff rarely give anything more specific as to when you can expect any Galaxy features to be ready.

I understand your point completely. Personally I would love to see an overlay and a cool achievement system in-game; like the achievement that pop'd up on witcher 3 in the GOG Home screen where they were advertising. I'd love to see cool purple modern style achievements coming up while im in game. Little things like that make me enjoy the service, steams achievements are bland and boring when they come up and I'd like to see GOG's achievements look cool. I know this doesn't affect game play whatsoever but its just my opinion.

You can just turn the overlay off if you don't like it. That's one of the good parts of Galaxy, if you don't like any of the features it offers, you can simply disable them, keeping it lightweight.

Dammit man! What do you think this is here? Duke Nukem Forever? Are we running on Valve Time here?

No, the best thing is you don't have to use Galaxy at all, for anything. Thats that best thing about it.

For the OP, what would you want on an overlay, do you need up to date information on how long you have been playing, or that you have unlocked the "really mashed that x button" achievement?

I didn't say "best", I said "one of the good parts", HUGE difference.

Yes, sorry, one of the good parts is not having to use it, the other good part is not being required to use it.
