So, here is a somewhat silly thread.

I currently have a quite a load of games to play on my backlog. Grim Dawn, Crysis Warhead, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Test Drive 2 are some of the ones I'm currently going through a playthrough. And I do have others to go back to and finish (or at least continue playing), like Witcher 2 and 3, Trails in the Sky, Grid 2, Dirt Showdown, Saints Row 2 and 4, Minerva's Den, Borderlands 1 DLC, Hard Reset and Dragon Age 1's DLCs just to name the ones I remember by heart.

Anyway, Nuuvem has some pretty neat promos going on right now and an extra 10% off cupon is available as well.

I'm interested in Shadow of Mordor GotY and at least 2 from their "get 2 Deep Silver for less than 12 BRL", which includes the following games:

Saints Row 3 and 4 (I already own both)
Risen 2 and Sacred 2 (I'm not interested in these two)
Saints Row Gat out of hell
Metro Last Light Redux (I own the normal version and have not played it through yet)
Dead Island GotY (I enjoyed Dying Light, but have no idea how similar this is to it)
Dead Island Riptide Complete
Killer is Dead

So, influence the consumer in me. Should I get any of these games right now? Why? Should I stop other games to play whatever I get immediately? Should I avoid getting them now and just stick with what I own already?

I'd love to know what you guys think. :)
You sure have a lot of time on your hands.

In all honesty, I don't. But I do find sometime to play a couple of hours every few days or so.
When I get into this dilemma I ask myself if the games are likely to be on sale again in the future, and if they are, I tell myself I'll pick them up next time around and keep that money for other things I need now.

Like more games, right?

interesting
wtf? you actually put games which you are not interested in? Well.. If you already own saints row 3 and 4, nothing really is better than risen 2/3 (after gothic than risen 1) and when you pick risen 2 after playing the first you will get disappointed but it is fun.. in fact third is more fun.. just remember to shotgun stuff, especially in risen 3. =P

I had a lot of fun with the series but still.. first risen was the best one.

I just wanted to list all games available on the promo. :)
You should totally buy and play Alpha Centauri ;-)
Until then, no buy is really worth it…
Shadow of Mordor I think is the best choice. It's Assassin's Creed crossed with Arkham in the LotR universe. I loved AC once upon a time, that time specifically being AC 2, and this really scratched that itch in a way that the actual AC games couldn't ever since. By the way, it's great if you don't have that much time to play, you can just pick a couple of Orc captains from the list and stalk and kill them. It's hard to not go for the next one up the food chain right after, but if you resist it's great for short play sessions.

By the way, I totally get you man. I haven't finished Dark Souls, even though I did do two separate 80 hour playthroughs of it, and now I'm itching to buy and play Bloodborne even though I should just go back to Dark Souls.

Already own it. Though my attempts to play it so far were rather feeble. :(

I just finished AC Brotherhood and felt a bit tired of the game by the end. Too much stuff to do, most of it not so interesting or great. Though I understand that's more a Ubisoft open world game kind of problem than a problem with the concept/game style.
