So, this is the page for Indivisible, a rpg created by Skullgirl's developers.

On the page you can find a demo/prototype of the title, and...the game is actually very good. Maybe the background feels a bit empty, but the combat mechanics are both classic and new at the same time: just think about the active time battle of Final Fantasy VII, with the option toDefend for each character simply by pressing a button at the same time.

Animations look really good, and the title itself seems promising.

Just give the demo a try, it's around 40 minutes long and you can discover a little gem here.
Nice! Downloading the demo now.

30$ is a bit much isn't it? They should have kept a tier at 20$ without soundtrack. I hope this campaign is successful.

I don't know, I think it also depends from the project they are doing. If they offer a support like they did with Skullgirls (a lot of updates and free DLCs for everyone) I think it could be worth even for 30$.
Looks good, and indiegogo is an interesting choice.

It seems because Indiegogo takes a smaller cut compared to Kickstarter, or this is what I read around.
Yeah, I knew about it and saw Jim Sterling's gameplay video.
I'm not a backer, though. $30 is a bit too much. And there's drm-free version, so no.

(...and Skullgirls is not here yet. And even though in the last humble was apparently drm-free, it doesn't show as it in the humble store)

But the game looks nice enough.
It definitely looks great, but shouldn't be classified as 'platformer' it sure looks like one to me? Also $30 is for the game+OST as I understand it, inmho the game itself should be 20 bucks at release.
The game's battle mechanics are heavily based on Valkyrie Profile. Honestly it looks pretty good to me :)
I watched Jim Sterling's video covering the prototype and I'm really impressed with how polished it is; it really is more of a demo than a playable prototype.

I'm fine with throwing down $30 on it; my concern is that (a) $1.5 million is quite an ambitious goal and right now I'm uncertain as to how realistic that is, and (b) there hasn't been a lot of mention made lately about a DRM-free version or a version sold outside of Steam.
I'm sure soon or later a DRM free version will be released. The game is really good even because the combat system is fun and challenging, at first it seems easy, but when you face the boss in the demo, you are forced to use it properly by defending, healing and attacking, otherwise you'll lose in no time. Very polished demo, anyway, I really wish good luck to those guys, with Skullgirls they did an awesome job (I mean, it's not easy to find a software house giving for free all important DLCs for a timed window to all users, on all platform).
Finished playing the prototype (20-40 minutes long), and so far I was impressed with it. I haven't played Valkyrie Profile, but as far as combat goes I like the setup and how battles are played out. A bit too easy for the most part (especially when one character you get can heal your entire party with just 1 level of Iddhi power, and getting that amount of power doesn't take much effort), but it was still interesting to experiment with. The animation quality is pretty much what I've expect from them (AKA pretty good). Navigating areas felt a bit too simple, but then again it's the prototype.

Looking at it overall it kind of depresses me that they might not even get close to the $1.5 million they're asking for. Unless they do more than rely on word of mouth, I doubt they're going to make it.

Looks great but 30$ is a very high price. Honestly I wouldnt pay that much for it unless the game has a minimum of 20-30 hours of gameplay

Good news then:

"Game Length
We’re targeting a playtime of around 20-30 hours for Indivisible’s main scenario, not including sidequests."
So, I just played through the prototype -- after having watched both Jim Sterling's and Jesse Cox' videos -- and though no one cares about my opinion, I must say it feels quite phenomenal. Not supporting it until I see a promise for a DRM-free version though. Humble or GOG doesn't much matter as far as I'm concerned, but I want a DRM-free Linux version.
New update: the game will feature characters from other games, like Shovel Knight, Juan from Guacamelee and others!

Plus the prototype is now available on PS4.

A reminder: if the game won't reach the amount needed on Indiegogo, it won't be done.
