All of everything is back, plus some new stuff.

It's the incredible, the amazing, the stunning Indie Piñata Grande Finale!

Welcome to the final blowout. It's 24 hours of every deal and Pinata so far, all to bring this weeklong event to its grande conclusion. Among these exceptional offers is the return of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - now in an all-new, totally improved Unreal Engine 4 Redux edition. There's the most delicious combination of words in gaming, also known as Sunless Sea, and of course - there is a handful of completely new Piñatas so you can keep on whackin' on!

What is the Indie Piñata?
The Indie Piñata is a whacky gaming sale brought to you by Crunching Koalas and GOG.com, a weeklong celebration of diverse indie games - organised to help gamers (you) discover great indie titles without breaking the bank. Instead, we'll break the Piñata! A lot.

There's so much stuff.
There's stuff alright, with plenty of video game stuffing.
We've got a hefty selection of deals up to 80% off - all indies, all highly recommended - this includes titles like Kerbal Space Program (-33%), NEO Scavenger (-50%), Legend of Grimrock 2 (-75%), and MouseCraft (-80%), so that you can pick and choose what you play (but it's probably best to get them all just in case).

Whack your Piñata!
If you're fond of surprises, for $3 (or your local equivalent), you can grab your own 100% whackable Piñata and find a random indie wonder inside - handpicked by us and Crunching Koalas. The Piñata can include games anywhere from $9.99 to $44.99, so there's a deal (and a satisfying POP) behind every swing - and we’ll be ready to congratulate those of you who show off your discounted gains on Twitter with the hashtag #IndiePinata!

The Promo and Piñata include a completely separate batch of games, so there's plenty of variety and surprises - we'll also rotate the Promo and Piñata lineup after three days, just so that things don't get too stale. The Indie Piñata promo will last until 9/18/2015, 9:59AM GMT. Just remember - check yourself, before you whack yourself.
Batter up!

Niggles: Came back from long hols. Only just saw this sale today. So chances of getting something on ones wishlist? or completely random?
Read this for more information:

Konrad:
"You're right. Sorry if we were being misleading with this, we'll update the FAQ with more specifics. Basically, if we want to get into the randomness-algorithm, here's roughly how it works:

The Pinata lineup is separated into timed pools with limited quantities, each pool includes more of some games and fewer of others. Theoretically, it's possible for a game to be "sold out" in one batch.

So if you're missing a game from the lineup it will be prioritised as long as there are copies left in the given batch. Basically, we did this to spread the games out evenly across the entire promo and avoid a situation in which all the best deals are gone right off the bat."

My final conclusion of the pinata sale:

I somehow like gambling if the probability is high enough to get something I want or wouldn't mind to try out.
In the first round the content of the pinatas was in most cases a game I know I would hate (!). e.g. I can't stand FPS and horror games.
The chances in the second round were better, so I shot a couple of donkeys and was quite pleased about the result.
I am very disappointed about the thord round. Once again most games are junk.

In the end I bought one duplicate: Sword of the stars the pit gold
Though it is possible to redeem it, in most cases support will take some time to follow ones request... The support contacted me after 24 hours (wow) and asked if I would like to receive a store credit. (I accidentally just mentioned a 'refund'.) I replied and still wait for a response.
If I will get the store credit within the next 23 hours I might take my chance and grap my gun. Otherwise I will leave it.

Although this sale is meant to try out indie games of various genres, it is somehow pointless if my-humble-self will get ones that I cannot enjoy.
It would have been nice to fill my personal pinata. Pick a couple games out of a given pool and gamble. That way the pinata would not only be filled with my favourite ones but also with some I would have ignored otherwise.
Edit: Problem seems to be sorted.

And thanks to a spate of Piñata bashing, my GOG games shelf is now at 1000 titles. ¡Viva GOG!

Over the course of my life? Easily. But much of my GOG shelf remains yet unexplored.

1123 games but still so many on my wishlist ;-) But yes, a bigger catalogue is always better! :-)

All I will say is that "Pinata" reminds me of that shop-keeper in Fallout 2, attempting to use faux Italian, on a tirade to throw you off coming on to his cons (the kids stealing).
Will there be a statistics about :

How many games / pinatas were bought ?
How many games were activated ?
How many pinatas were converted into gifts / store credits ?

I suggest you play it. you'll see that before you have them finished gog will have many more titles to buy.

True enough. I tend to build the backlog far faster than I can play through it. Though I've been working on reversing that trend lately.
Have any games been added to the normal sale in the 3rd round? And if so, is a list of these games available?

I hate the confusing front page but sadly GOG does not bother to provide an easy to read list as for the other sales.

No, seems like it's only new pinata's.
