All of everything is back, plus some new stuff.

It's the incredible, the amazing, the stunning Indie Piñata Grande Finale!

Welcome to the final blowout. It's 24 hours of every deal and Pinata so far, all to bring this weeklong event to its grande conclusion. Among these exceptional offers is the return of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - now in an all-new, totally improved Unreal Engine 4 Redux edition. There's the most delicious combination of words in gaming, also known as Sunless Sea, and of course - there is a handful of completely new Piñatas so you can keep on whackin' on!

What is the Indie Piñata?
The Indie Piñata is a whacky gaming sale brought to you by Crunching Koalas and GOG.com, a weeklong celebration of diverse indie games - organised to help gamers (you) discover great indie titles without breaking the bank. Instead, we'll break the Piñata! A lot.

There's so much stuff.
There's stuff alright, with plenty of video game stuffing.
We've got a hefty selection of deals up to 80% off - all indies, all highly recommended - this includes titles like Kerbal Space Program (-33%), NEO Scavenger (-50%), Legend of Grimrock 2 (-75%), and MouseCraft (-80%), so that you can pick and choose what you play (but it's probably best to get them all just in case).

Whack your Piñata!
If you're fond of surprises, for $3 (or your local equivalent), you can grab your own 100% whackable Piñata and find a random indie wonder inside - handpicked by us and Crunching Koalas. The Piñata can include games anywhere from $9.99 to $44.99, so there's a deal (and a satisfying POP) behind every swing - and we’ll be ready to congratulate those of you who show off your discounted gains on Twitter with the hashtag #IndiePinata!

The Promo and Piñata include a completely separate batch of games, so there's plenty of variety and surprises - we'll also rotate the Promo and Piñata lineup after three days, just so that things don't get too stale. The Indie Piñata promo will last until 9/18/2015, 9:59AM GMT. Just remember - check yourself, before you whack yourself.
Batter up!

Stream watch:

It's the Indie Piñata at , as well! We’re celebrating with tons of special promo streams. [url=https://www.gog.com/news/coming_up_on_twitchtvgogcom]Check out the schedule to know what’s going on over the weekend, and follow our channel for 4-6 hours of awesome, daily gaming content!

asb: But when I get to checkout, will it say "this order contains some items you already own", as it has in some previous similar promos?
avatar
Konrad: It won't - the games inside your Piñata are only generated once you go through checkout. Even we don't know what you'll get until the very end.

That said, if you end up getting stuck with a bunch of spare gifts (or a Base/Deluxe edition of a game you own already), you can always contact support to use the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee - or simply convert them to store credit. Just keep in mind this applies to the Piñata's price, not the game's full value. ;)
Soooo, just wondering. I noticed that many people on the forums already got their store credit/refunds and I am still waiting for a reply, since friday afternoon. I can wait for a reply (positive or negative), it's just annoying that users that send the support request after me, are apparently in front of the line.

I might have found an explanation for that.

I just looked at my latest support mails (which were all answered very quickly) and they were all handled by a guy named Heinrich from support-de@gog.com. It seems that because of my German e-mail, I get automatically directed to the German section of support (even if I write in English).

I guess the workload of German support is by far not as high as the one of English support and because of that I have a better chance to get a fast answer. Either that or I'm just extremely lucky.
I've got some doubles too, and I think we maybe can make some gift exchange. What I have to trade are:

Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure
Shadowgate.

Sorry about that - we typically prioritize tickets by problem type (as selected in the contact form), especially when we know that a backlog is inevitable. In this particular situation, we're waiting for a Pinata-related backend fix, which prevents us from solving some cases - which your selected problem type typically involves. The fix should be up by the end of the day.
I will respond to your ticket in a second, since your problem does not require this fix - once again, sorry about the wait.

Got it! Thanks :)
I got my refunds within 2 days of my request. During a weekend no less... Sterling support GOG!
Much appreciated.

You are not alone my friend.
I am on my fourth day and are still waiting for a reply.
I think that not allowing us to bash that huge piñata on the front store (with a few clicks) to get a special discount or freebie at least once a day was a huge missed opportunity for gog.com.

Oh, well. Maybe next time.
A little warning to anyone thinking of buying The Escapists: As a GOG user, you will not be treated equally to Steam users. The developers have no official plans to release any of the DLC for the GOG version of the game.

Can I bother you to do the same for me?

I am also waiting for my store credit/refund since friday.

I guess I'll go ahead and ask if the same could please be done for me as well? I'm okay with waiting if it would be an extra hassle though.

EDIT: Hooray, Support has responded!

Same here, although I never received an email confirmation for my first request on Friday. Got another extra pinata copy yesterday, so have a request outstanding that I *did* receive an email confirmation for on Monday.

Edit: My store credit refunds have now been processed. Thank you!

Thanks Judas!

And while I have you here...

If I do the same thing again, i.e. buy 25 pinatas at once, and again get 92% gifts, will you refund them again, or will you delete my account and send your ninjas after me?

;)
