All of everything is back, plus some new stuff.

It's the incredible, the amazing, the stunning Indie Piñata Grande Finale!

Welcome to the final blowout. It's 24 hours of every deal and Pinata so far, all to bring this weeklong event to its grande conclusion. Among these exceptional offers is the return of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - now in an all-new, totally improved Unreal Engine 4 Redux edition. There's the most delicious combination of words in gaming, also known as Sunless Sea, and of course - there is a handful of completely new Piñatas so you can keep on whackin' on!

What is the Indie Piñata?
The Indie Piñata is a whacky gaming sale brought to you by Crunching Koalas and GOG.com, a weeklong celebration of diverse indie games - organised to help gamers (you) discover great indie titles without breaking the bank. Instead, we'll break the Piñata! A lot.

There's so much stuff.
There's stuff alright, with plenty of video game stuffing.
We've got a hefty selection of deals up to 80% off - all indies, all highly recommended - this includes titles like Kerbal Space Program (-33%), NEO Scavenger (-50%), Legend of Grimrock 2 (-75%), and MouseCraft (-80%), so that you can pick and choose what you play (but it's probably best to get them all just in case).

Whack your Piñata!
If you're fond of surprises, for $3 (or your local equivalent), you can grab your own 100% whackable Piñata and find a random indie wonder inside - handpicked by us and Crunching Koalas. The Piñata can include games anywhere from $9.99 to $44.99, so there's a deal (and a satisfying POP) behind every swing - and we’ll be ready to congratulate those of you who show off your discounted gains on Twitter with the hashtag #IndiePinata!

The Promo and Piñata include a completely separate batch of games, so there's plenty of variety and surprises - we'll also rotate the Promo and Piñata lineup after three days, just so that things don't get too stale. The Indie Piñata promo will last until 9/18/2015, 9:59AM GMT. Just remember - check yourself, before you whack yourself.
Batter up!

It's the Indie Piñata at , as well! We’re celebrating with tons of special promo streams. [url=https://www.gog.com/news/coming_up_on_twitchtvgogcom]Check out the schedule to know what’s going on over the weekend, and follow our channel for 4-6 hours of awesome, daily gaming content!
I couldn't smash that cute Piñata. Look how it's blinking!
Got Legend of Grimrock I. Already got it from a HB but it's nice to get it on my GOG account too !
It’s a bit disappointing that you can’t add an OS restriction on the random games included in the piñata. I would have gladly taken part in what seems to be a fun promo, but my guess is that I’ve high chances to end up with some Windows-only games that I won’t be able to run on my Linux box.

So I have to pass on this one, hoping something will be done about it for the next "surprise promo".
Had another pop, got 'SPELUNKY'

I think I'll just buy 'Dreamfall Chapters', would be a lot cheaper... :(

hehe, it's all fun.

I'm going to pass on this pinãta promo. I have so many games on GoG that I would very likely get a game I already own.

If a new game you don't already own was guaranteed, I could probably give it a try.

Something they should consider for the future, should they do anything similar.

Possibly start with a 100% guarantee to get a game you don't already own on the first (non-gift) purchase, then with each subsequent purchase decrease it until it hits a sane threshold. Maybe even reset it entirely each time a new set of titles shuffles in (assuming they follow the same formula in play here).

It is, with the caveats that

1. There are 25 games on the random list (linked above)

2. The more expensive ones only seem to be available in small numbers so they can sell out for periods.

So if you are missing anything else than the 2-3 most expensive ones your guaranteed to get a unique game.

That's the problem though, I'm missing only Dreamfall and Republique and still got 3 gifts instead :|
I guess I'll ask for a refund on those three...

Dusse: I wish that one were able to at least choose the platform you play on. Kind of meaningless to get games that I can't (well...won't, I guess, because of the hassle) play.
Can't is right as not all games run under Wine.

As GOG already warns you when you buy a game on a different platform you should at least be able to set your gaming platform for this kind of sales. But system requirements are another point for me as I cannot run some of the games on my current hardware.
As the Pinata, I've got Jazzpunk. What type of game is this?
So this sale is just indie? I was hoping it'd change to good old games today. Oh well!

It's called Indie Pinata ... so yea
So this is indeed a whole week long sale with only indie games... No thanks! :D

I hope there will be some classic games again in the next weekend promo.

Yes but they could've changed the theme each time. It's a very slow and rubbishy sale so far.... 3 days between content shifts... indies only..... not a great sale at all, seems like they're just drawing it out on purpose because they have a lack of releases lined up.
Pretty disappointing that Hand of Fate always gets a lower discount on GOG than on Steam and Humble (and despite the fact that the version updates on GOG were lagging behind for a long time, and the DLC is still missing).
