All of everything is back, plus some new stuff.

It's the incredible, the amazing, the stunning Indie Piñata Grande Finale!

Welcome to the final blowout. It's 24 hours of every deal and Pinata so far, all to bring this weeklong event to its grande conclusion. Among these exceptional offers is the return of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - now in an all-new, totally improved Unreal Engine 4 Redux edition. There's the most delicious combination of words in gaming, also known as Sunless Sea, and of course - there is a handful of completely new Piñatas so you can keep on whackin' on!

What is the Indie Piñata?
The Indie Piñata is a whacky gaming sale brought to you by Crunching Koalas and GOG.com, a weeklong celebration of diverse indie games - organised to help gamers (you) discover great indie titles without breaking the bank. Instead, we'll break the Piñata! A lot.

There's so much stuff.
There's stuff alright, with plenty of video game stuffing.
We've got a hefty selection of deals up to 80% off - all indies, all highly recommended - this includes titles like Kerbal Space Program (-33%), NEO Scavenger (-50%), Legend of Grimrock 2 (-75%), and MouseCraft (-80%), so that you can pick and choose what you play (but it's probably best to get them all just in case).

Whack your Piñata!
If you're fond of surprises, for $3 (or your local equivalent), you can grab your own 100% whackable Piñata and find a random indie wonder inside - handpicked by us and Crunching Koalas. The Piñata can include games anywhere from $9.99 to $44.99, so there's a deal (and a satisfying POP) behind every swing - and we’ll be ready to congratulate those of you who show off your discounted gains on Twitter with the hashtag #IndiePinata!

The Promo and Piñata include a completely separate batch of games, so there's plenty of variety and surprises - we'll also rotate the Promo and Piñata lineup after three days, just so that things don't get too stale. The Indie Piñata promo will last until 9/18/2015, 9:59AM GMT. Just remember - check yourself, before you whack yourself.
Batter up!

meh, I got:
- Guacamalee Super Turbo Edition
while I already have the Gold edition. I don't care for speedruns
- Shelter (Already had this)
- Völgarr the Viking (I'm not not into permadeath platforming)
- Gods will be Watching.

I would never have bought these games.
I guess I'm just a tad unlucky...
I bought two pinatas, got machinarium and ftl, both of which I already own on other platforms. I guess there's no way to trade these, right?

Johny.: We're making sure that you only find games that you don't have yet. But if you already own every game hidden in the Piñata, we'll convert your spare copies to a gift.

IAmSinistar: So why did my first Piñata contain a game I already own, when there are at least two in the tracking thread that I don't own? I'm guessing "limited quantities" again, which means the above isn't strictly true. If it were I would keep trying until I got Republique, but now I suspect I could go all day and just keep getting titles I own.
In my case I think it was because I ordered the Piñata as a gift. I presume you have to add it directly to your account to get something you don't have yet.

Matruchus: Anybody noticed yet that Van Helsing I+II have been released on gog.com today.
Yes, spotted and boughted already. :)

Frankly better than the sale, at least for me, since I own most of what's on offer.

Hmm didn't realise that. Luckily I got Republique first and didn't get my extra gift copy of Machinarium until the 3rd time around. Perhaps lucky I bought when I did then if it could be the limited quantities thing
Hmmmm doesn't sound like this is worth the risk at all from the posts.
Nice to see another sale. Thanks gOg. Although personally much prefer to see what I'll get.

Unfortunately you can't select "buy as a gift" for pinatas. At least I could never tick the checkbox. And since I do not own the games here on GOG but on steam, humble bundle, windows phone they were added straight to my GOG shelf. Seems like I'm straight out of luck, I'm definitely not going to buy another surprise game on here as my game library on other platforms is too big to not get duplicates here.

You can buy them as gift. Which browser are you using? or are you using Galaxy?

That could be the case, since I bought a gift Piñata as well. However, looking at the Piñata list, there are three games I don't have and only one I want (and that's only in the Piñata as the Regular Edition). So it's not worth me buying another one, since the likely outcomes are either a game I don't want or the inferior edition of one I do want.

Roll on the next round. :)

Moooooon!!!! Haven't seen you a while! *tackle hug*

NuffCatnip: The only game Im interested in and dont own is Republique and with my bad luck Im not trying to gamble. >.<
Did Republique ever have a discount on gog ?
Yes, but only once this year, and only about 20%.

The annoying thing about this promo is that it offers you the possibility of getting expensive games that never received a good discount so far, for next to nothing all of a sudden, but you'll likely end up spending a lot of money on games you didn't want to buy in the first place instead. I'd rather have these more expensive games being offered with a mildly attractive discount for a change and pay thrice or four times the price of the Pinata for them than to gamble and waste my money on something I don't want. It's a nice idea on paper, and I don't want to be a spoilsport for those who find this sale event fun and exciting, but personally I preferred spending ~$3 each on discounted games in the Humble Store sale, knowing what I would get.

Let's hope that Republique and Dreamfall Chapters will also appear in the open sales section later on, but I doubt they'd get a 60-70% discount there ...

Google Chrome, I definitely couldn't select "buy as gift" I tried multiple times. I figured that was part of the promotion.

Still can't select it. When I touch the checkbox the checkout page acts as if it would try to pop up additional information underneath (probably) email address to gift it to) but it never ticks the checkbox. Guess the page is not touch Friendly.
