All of everything is back, plus some new stuff.

It's the incredible, the amazing, the stunning Indie Piñata Grande Finale!

Welcome to the final blowout. It's 24 hours of every deal and Pinata so far, all to bring this weeklong event to its grande conclusion. Among these exceptional offers is the return of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - now in an all-new, totally improved Unreal Engine 4 Redux edition. There's the most delicious combination of words in gaming, also known as Sunless Sea, and of course - there is a handful of completely new Piñatas so you can keep on whackin' on!

What is the Indie Piñata?
The Indie Piñata is a whacky gaming sale brought to you by Crunching Koalas and GOG.com, a weeklong celebration of diverse indie games - organised to help gamers (you) discover great indie titles without breaking the bank. Instead, we'll break the Piñata! A lot.

There's so much stuff.
There's stuff alright, with plenty of video game stuffing.
We've got a hefty selection of deals up to 80% off - all indies, all highly recommended - this includes titles like Kerbal Space Program (-33%), NEO Scavenger (-50%), Legend of Grimrock 2 (-75%), and MouseCraft (-80%), so that you can pick and choose what you play (but it's probably best to get them all just in case).

Whack your Piñata!
If you're fond of surprises, for $3 (or your local equivalent), you can grab your own 100% whackable Piñata and find a random indie wonder inside - handpicked by us and Crunching Koalas. The Piñata can include games anywhere from $9.99 to $44.99, so there's a deal (and a satisfying POP) behind every swing - and we’ll be ready to congratulate those of you who show off your discounted gains on Twitter with the hashtag #IndiePinata!

The Promo and Piñata include a completely separate batch of games, so there's plenty of variety and surprises - we'll also rotate the Promo and Piñata lineup after three days, just so that things don't get too stale. The Indie Piñata promo will last until 9/18/2015, 9:59AM GMT. Just remember - check yourself, before you whack yourself.
Batter up!

It's the Indie Piñata at , as well! We’re celebrating with tons of special promo streams. [url=https://www.gog.com/news/coming_up_on_twitchtvgogcom]Check out the schedule to know what’s going on over the weekend, and follow our channel for 4-6 hours of awesome, daily gaming content!

rgnrk: Tried posting 3 times, can't get through.
Yeah, the forums are glitching baddly at the moment. JediEagle just had his post trippled.
The only game Im interested in and dont own is Republique and with my bad luck Im not trying to gamble. >.<
Did Republique ever have a discount on gog ?

JediEagle: I hate you guys ..... seriously ...... I hate this kind of sells and I am stupid enough to try it:

FTL - already have it, here on GOG
Lumino City - have it on Steam
Dust: An Elysian Tail - have it on Steam
Gods Will Be Watching - I don't want it :/

I'll just stop right now ......
If you don't like the Pinatas you can always refund them as Konrad explained here: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/indie_pinata_comes_to_gogcom_8f071/post83
Apparently Wasteland 2 and Pillars of Eternity is in gog's indie game category. Who will be the lucky person to hit the jackpot with one of those? :P

I guess, but that's kind of evil, isnt it? I mean, I chose to gamble, why should I demand a refund? I gambled and I lost :) And I only got 1 gift, since I own two of the games on Steam, but not here, so I didnt get a bunch of gifts :)
avatar
Konrad: That said, if you end up getting stuck with a bunch of gifts you don't want, you can always contact support to use the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee or simply convert them to store credit.
So... Theoretically I could contact support and ask them to convert Shelter into €2.69 store credit? Not that I'm going to do this (bought 6 piñatas, got 3 good games, 2 okay-ish games and Shelter, a game I'll never install - that's a pretty decent result), but... Isn't that a bad idea? This basically means we can throw 25 piñatas into the cart, keep the ones we want and get refunds for the ones we don't want oO Giving refunds for piñatas turns this into a "Pick any game you want from this list for $3" promo O.O

If you're looking for more games (or don't like surprises) we're also running a promo on a selection of indie titles. These are a separate batch of games from the ones you'll find inside the Piñata.

hafizadam: If I understand it correctly, Pinatas and Promos are different line-up?
is it safe to assume those in Pinatas are not in Promos?
Yep, hidden Pinata games and the indie titles available from the main page are two completely separate lineups :)
Very nice promo! Good luck GOGer's! :)
I suspect the whole point of the piñata is that it's random. You take a complete chance on what you'll get.

If you don't like what's in the piñata, you can get a refund of what you've paid, or you have the option to gift it - there's no need to get upset.

hafizadam: beware of bots. maybe you can give the codes to Community Giveaway
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/a_community_giveaway
I'll think about it next time. Though I'm lazy and changing to another forum thread, so much effort :)

sigilork: No I just got a Paypal Confirmation not from GOG.
sorry for inconveniences, your order will be processed soon
I love the blind bag idea. My first 3 pinatas were games I didnt own so maybe the system attempts to prioritize unowned games (?).

Great to know support can convert gift items to stkre credit within 30 days.

asb: But when I get to checkout, will it say "this order contains some items you already own", as it has in some previous similar promos?
avatar
Konrad: It won't - the games inside your Piñata are only generated once you go through checkout. Even we don't know what you'll get until the very end.

That said, if you end up getting stuck with a bunch of spare gifts (or a Base/Deluxe edition of a game you own already), you can always contact support to use the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee - or simply convert them to store credit. Just keep in mind this applies to the Piñata's price, not the game's full value. ;)
You need to have someone check this code again, because I got a game I already own and I definitely do not own every piñata.

I already submitted a ticket to support, but maybe you could speed things up a little? The sooner this is fixed, the less customers will be annoyed by this bug.
Great promo GOG! Time to get drunk! *hic* :D
