Anyone else slightly panicking about downloading your Games Wallet before the site collapses into itself with an apocalyptic whimper?

I haven't heard any news about the outage, and no one has mentioned anything bad... Just a bit concerned that there's no news at all.

And I haven't actually downloaded my games as yet. However, it might prve an impetus to make my lazy self back up my games.

Apparently the site changed owners recently. There's been no talk about it going under, but that's how it went with Desura too at first. Backup now.

Yes, you should definitely backup your games. Can't imagine that their financial situation is very good, for the last few months the deals (running for 3-5 days) hardly sold 100 copies each.

Could of course be a technical problem as well, but the lack of news about it is alarming.

Don't think so. As far as I can see it's the fourth day in a row without a deal. For some times now the deals are running for three days each, which means there's already two deals missing.

And it would be quite stupid to do a deal that is blocked for most of the world without a little note on the site.
