A sneak peek to what lies ahead.

Do you want to know more about <span class="bold">Senua</span>'s story? Good. But are you ready to ask the right questions? Excellent. At 4PM UTC today, Dominic Matthews, Product Development Manager for Ninja Theory, will join us here for an open Q&A session, answering the questions that you guys have been submitting below since Tuesday, and tackling any new ones that you want to throw at them.

Two days ago Melina Juergens appeared live as Senua on Ninja Theory's facebook page and addressed fan questions about the game and its groundbreaking motion-capture technology. You can watch it all <span class="bold">here</span>.

But surely there's more you want to know about this fascinating project, things that are not even covered in these extensive <span class="bold">developer diaries</span>. So what are you waiting for? Fire away, people!

<span class="bold">Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice</span> is scheduled for release on August 8 and you can pre-order it now, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Watch the Hela trailer.

I'm definitely interested in this one.
Question: You made a VR version of the trailer, and the game will be released on Playstation 4, which got its own VR system. So, do you think this game could work in VR?
Question: why do we need to use facebook?

Question: what else happens in the game other than the lady looking at a burning tree?

She looks at other burning things. Is a pryomaniac simulator.

Yes. What kind of genere is this game? I watched the game videos and screenshots but they don't tell you anything about the actual gameplay. Will this be a walking simulator, a hack'n'slash or an action adventure? Not knowing that is the reason that holds me back from preordering.

So developers, tell us more about the actual gameplay and/or give us more ingame footage videos with more meaningfulness.

Ok, so Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice will be on multiple platforms. My question is will the pc version get it's own version (being optimized for the pc) or is it another console port.
It looks really interesting, but there's too much hype for my taste. It reinforces my scepticism... I'm hopeful that it's awesome, but I'll wait and see.
Super Hyped, but it's Ninja Theory, so.....I can't help it. Kind of a fan-boy.

Question:

Was female the gender of choice for the games protagonist from the beginning? Also, is Senua the exact same Senua from the start of development, or did she become who she is in the game over time? Evolving, so to speak.

Can't wait to play! Also, thanks to GOG!
q1: why not use reddit for AMA?
q2: what CPU/GPU one needs for 1080p/60fps gameplay?
q3: where is gameplay trailer?
I am interested in the concept but will you actually be able to control the character and fight or will it be more like a Telltale game (minimal control of the character)?
Only one question matters, and it's anawered in the page's writing.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is scheduled for release on August 8 and you can pre-order it now, DRM-free on GOG.com
1 Scheduled for release on August 8?
I'm OK with the "scheduled" date, don't mind delays to schedules, if it's not ready.
All other questions, I have, can only be answered, by independant reviews, and videos, after that release.

2 Pre-order?
No I don't buy unreleased hype, I buy released games, when I've read/viewed independant reviews/videos, after that release.

3 DRM-free on GOG.com?

We know now how it's released here, We also get offline installers, which is just as, or even more important to many of us.
No online store client required, for SPGs.
Unfortumately lazy MPG devs, don't want to provide the fumctionality their game needs to run, in the damn game.
So I ignore those useless games. If an MPG can't be played without Galaxy, it won't be played, at all.

Is the MPG part relevant, to this game?
I don't know, or even care. I'll find that out after release, not before.
If you haven't got the message yet, I hate pre-orders, and pre-release hype, and ignore it.

If any of you missed the live Q&A yesterday, you can still check it out here.

Watch the dev diaries on youtube, they answered your questions. Don't get what you meant by more ingame footage, the trailer that was linked is just that.

There is actual player controlled combat. There's two dev diaries dedicated to the combat system for you to check out.
