In the past, when you looked at the game reviews, you could sort by date or how 'helpful' they were. That option now no longer appears to be available? At least I can't see it any more!

So, when you look at reviews (let's use Witcher 2 as an example), what appears on page 1 are the 'most helpful' reviews. There are about 111 pages of reviews altogether. So, what happens to new reviews that will never appear on page 1?

What I want to see are the most 'recent' reviews, but that option seems to have disappeared?

GOG decided to remove it. For some time now (since they went "colourless"). Doesn't seem like anything can be done about it for the moment.

It's part of their ongoing campaign to become less user friendly.

Well, I've done exactly that, and thanks for the link Gilozard!

I would suggest anyone else that agrees with this do the same?

...and thanks to the others that posted here too. It also serves to reassure me, that I wasn't going crazy or something! ;)

Can't undertsand why GOG would mess such a useful feature up.

voted and thanks for the link!

Plus, most helpful isn´t what I am looking for, quite often I actually just read the negative comments, as they are quite often more helpful than the ones cheering the game.

That feature is now in GOG heaven, together with Manual Sorting, the green-orange logo, Private Messages and others. And though they are no longer with us, they still look down to us and guide us through these difficult times.
I'm sure there are a lot of topics about this, but I didn't see an easy way to sort even my search results by date, so I'm necroing this one.

Just wanted to point out to GOG management that I'm increasingly disappointed in them. The inability to sort comments by date is ludicrous, especially for a company that used to champion gamers and gaming in general.

I still love CD Projekt Red, but it annoys me when I go to read the comments for a game and have to sift through comments about the beta of all things, to get to recent content. In fact, I simply won't do it, and just close the browse window. If GOG wants to shoot themselves in the foot that's your prerogative I guess.
