I was first really made aware of David Bowie in my youth with Omikron the Nomad Soul.

Sure the game is far from perfect, and it has the usual Quantic Dreams issue of promising so much at the beginning and then failing to deliver but it is still a good old game. It also has some great Bowie music and he is immortalised in the game in digital form.

Let me know if you're interested in a copy of Omikron here and I'll randomly pick a winner.

I'll leave this open for a couple of days, or until the thread disappears well off the main pages.

sure i am in
i never actually listened to any of bowie's music so if i do win the game i might find to appreciate his music too
I wouldn't mind having that. So I am in.

Thanks for the opportunity!
Certainly interested. (and a thank you for hosting this)

Labyrinth is the earliest Bowie memory I have. Growing up, my parents (or rather, my father - so that essentially negated any other tastes) had a preference toward country music, so all the times Jareth broke into song in the film were really intriguing to me in terms of how different the overall sound was vs. what I was typically hearing whenever a stereo was on or a record or cassette was being played.

Not in, but thank you & +1 for your tribute.
I have Life on Mars in my head since yesterday. I wasn't a fan but I liked his ability to reinvent himself.
Not in but a very nice gesture PMIK. :D
Count me in for a game with "The Goblin King" himself.
Already have it, but thank you for the nice GA in memory of a great artist.
Definately in,I was always intrigued to check the game since release, especially when I heard Bowie was in it,always ahead of his time as always.

Thank you for this lovely giveaway and +1

Rest in peace Goblin King
Guess I'm in then.

Didn't even know that David Bowie was in the game before you mentioned it... makes me kinda curious right now.

Not in, but thanks for the giveaway and for making me aware of this. +1
Not in, as I never heard of this game before (and doesn't look like one I would be really interest in) but +1 for the tribute and thumbs up for the giveaway

His music is very different, especially in this game.

I remember playing the demo of Omikron back when it came out. After a brief introduction the game breaks out into his "Angels Of Promise" song while the camera pans across this strange futuristic world you've been plunged into. At first I though, "What a really weird song and a really weird game!". I then loved the demo so much I played through multiple times, being forced to sit through the same intro, and I came to really enjoy the music.

Yeah it was pretty cool. On the GOG store page his character is in the first screenshot (just next to the video)

I'd love to enter as well. I really only know Bowie's music from a handful of scattered tracks I have heard, from in Labyrinth which I love dearly and from his works with Trent Reznor (some live work and some tracks in the Lost Highway soundtrack) and would certainly love to hear more of his work!
I'm in. I loved David Bowie's music, though I've never heard the work he did in Omikron.
