Is this game less confusing and more noob friendly than games like Europa Universalis and Crusader Kings and such?

Sounds like a very problematic title, this could encourage people to believe in conspiracy theories.

Yes. And they don't want us to believe in the truth...

It's just a game. There are plenty of conspiracies and that kind of stories in games. I see no wrong in it. It's a nice idea for a game.

Can't actually tell if Secret Government would allow a title like this to exist.

Though a common believe(conspiracy theories) is project(Devs, actually) to be dead by now: nothing is allowed to reveal any trace if the said government.

You mean the creators of this game were murdered by real-life secret organizations?
Wow, I hope they won't kill the players too (btw, if anybody from such an organization is reading here, I don't intend to play the game, I swear!).

Puzzles, puzzles everywhere! It all started 20 years ago:

I guess I'm going to have to strike Deus Ex from the top of the list of conspiracy theory games. This isn't really my kind of game, though, so maybe it can stay at the top of the list of such games that I have actually played.
Interesting. Looks kind of like a twisted version of Europa Universalis.

You're being overly paranoid. In games, unlike in news / journalism, fiction is never presented as fact.

If that gamer have low enough conviction to believe that then he doesn't need this game to believe crazy theories. Remember back then 4chan making fun of conspiracy theorists by fooling them into believing that the moon itself is fake for shit and giggle but lo and behold some morons believe it and now it became another level of their insane theories.

To be honest if I play this game my secret govt will be called "BEEF ASS FLAPS" and the members are cow farmers from England that wage secret war against secret govt called "CABBAGE CAPERS" that consists of cabbage farmers from Poland.

A direct impact could make rumors worse.

Actually a way of The Secret Government to avert attention from THEMSELVES if rumors are starting to spread out uncontrollably would be to finance fictional works like a video game and twist everything in it: ridiculous scenarios, exaggerated influence, paranoid cutscenes, grotesque rituals, etc. so that people could scratch their conspiracy rash innocuously by playing (let their conspiracy steam out), then realize "by themselves" (people love being "clever") that they were being silly to nurture such crazy theories that are only good for fictional stuff.
I don't know what to think. It says that, during "Early Access" version you can play in the Glorious Revolution in England. In the roadmap, there are 2 more campaigns: US independence war and French Revolution.

It seems that there is not a mode to manage other countries apart from those 3 so the rest of the world (just Europe and maybe America given the campaigns planned?) is just for diplomacy options or are not even there. It seems a very limited "global" secret society, then.

Also, devs, if you want some historical rigor, please check those flags you are using... (the spanish flag you are using was not even created yet in the period you show on the screnshots)

It really seems interesting, but at first sight too much limited for a global secret organization if you can just play some very specific historical periods in just 3 nations.

There is a demo in Steam, if you feel like trying it out. The premise is interesting. If the game finally delivers, it might be a great title.

Why are you saying this here? What's your angle?
Were you sent by the conspirators to make us believe they don't exist or by opposing developers trying to ensure this game is a failure?
