d13_michael: In that case you might wait for quite a long time. As this won't happen all too soon.
The bundle we did back in the days was to get some more followers and it actually helped to increase the fanbase quite a lot.

If everything goes well, CrossCode will fully launch before or in September. Don't expect to be the game any cheaper than now till then. And till at least a year after the full release :)
I'm still going to wait.

Smannesman: Years late and already been bundled.
I'll wait for a much better deal.

I don't think any dev or publisher ever intends to heavily discount or bundle their games shortly after release, and yet it happens all the time.

Hopefully that won't be needed here, if the game turns out to be good and successful, but you never know.

What was the price point during that bundle period, anyway?

Wervyn: It's pretty natural to be skeptical of early-access projects these days but this one is worth at least keeping an eye on...
That, I shall do. Thanks for the extra info about the game!

Alfrodull: I won't say for the other people, but I personally got tired of almost endless stream of quasi-retro games here on GOG, and I got tired of almost endless stream of JRPG of all sorts here.
Former ones are just BAD, and latter ones are all identical.
To be fair, we still don't have many J-RPGs on GOG, at least compared to other genres. And Japanese releases of any kind are still rare here.

The fuck is a "retro-gamer"? Does anyone here actually call themselves a "retro-gamer"? Just sounds like awful marketing speech to me.
And the fact that the infamous "like an anime fan on a prom night" line just begs to be appended to the phrase indicates intentionally ticky-tacky advertisement.

Well, that's the current "style" of GOG now... for better or worse.
Great news! I've tried the demo on steam and it was awesome. Here is cheaper! :D

*raises hand with BreOl72* Yep, me.

Isn't that what brought most of us to Good OLD Games in the first place? ;-)

Really nice to see this in GOG.
I played the demo last year and, for my surprise, I loved it, voted for it in the community wishlist as fast as I could!.

I’ve to wait a few days to see if I can buy now (I’m not very sure about buying games that are still in development and I’m a bit short of cash also that regional pricing…), until then to my wishlist :)

Edit: Aaaand bought

Yeah, that's...that's quite the leap. Certainly didn't cross my mind when writing it.

Regarding "retro-gamers", I've got a number of friends and acquaintances who wouldn't mind being called that, given their affection for emulators and such.

GOG.com: snip
For any new game that isn't simultaneously released on GOG when it is on other platforms, there should be an obligatory copy on https://www.gog.com/connect

Tired of devs putting it off hoping people will rebuy it, putting it up on connect for 24h on some random day, then poof. That system is stupid.
This game has been on my Steam wishlist for a while now. It's now on my GOG wishlist but, I wonder, does anyone know how soon it will release? I mean, are we talking 2017, 2018?
