Great, probably can't run it on my crap laptop, but will still buy, despite its flaws I liked AoD quite a lot.

Also - would I be right in guessing this is a game with a mix of...
1. XCOM-like; Wasteland 2+3 style; and/or Shadowrun Trilogy's style Turn-based combat?
2. This is an open-world CRPG, but all set in a Generation Ship?

Looks really interesting. I've been itching for a non-fantasy RPG while waiting for Wasteland 3's inevitable "Director's Cut" to come out.

However, looks like it's the same people as "Age of Decadence". Is this one going to be as laughably impossible to play as that game was? I have no desire to play another "lose every fight, fail every skill check" game.

Had been following this one at their site. As Chris mentioned, they are the makers of Age of Decadence, which was actually SF in an epoch so remote that it looks like fantasy (with a heavy historical tint that resembles the decadence of Rome, go and play it if you did not already).

Definitely interesting. Some classic tropes in SF: generational starship, mutiny on board... Yet I do not recall any computer game that exploited them so far.
