Play a game that enables you to create and destroy on an unimaginable scale. Universe Sandbox from Giant Army studio is now available as Game in Development on GOG.COM.

It’s a space simulator that merges together real-time gravity, climate, collision, and material interactions to reveal the beauty of our universe and the fragility of our planet.

Until 12th February 2020, 2 PM UTC, Universe Sandbox Game in Development is available on GOG.COM with a special 33% discount.

Note: This game is currently in development. See the FAQ to learn more about games in development, and check out the forums to find more information and to stay in touch with the community.
Hell yeah!
This one might change my mind about "not buying in-Dev"-titles!
Not even a game, but I love this stuff. Time to scratch my wallet again.
Tempting, if nothing else then at least for the VR support. I plan to get one of them Rifts in near future, and will be hungry for content.
Been in Early Access on Steam since 24 Aug, 2015...
Obviously not in a rush to finish it... >_>

Will still probably buy though... it's a fun time waster
Had a ton of fun with the original Universe Sandbox, plus it was an invaluable tool during several discussions with family & friends. Not sure what has changed in this sequel, but if there are significant new features i may end buying it sooner or later so its great to have it here.
Bought this Game on TEacherGaming, becausemy son really wanted it and the other option was Steam.

This game has him in fits of giggles, and yet is educational too.

Really happy the game has come here, might re-buy Here to support dev.

What kind of state is it in?
"In development" and all.
Nice.

I asked about "Legacy" quite a few times, hoping to get it again here since I actually enjoyed it over on Steam, looks like I'll be getting it on GOG after all.

Didn't look like enough of an upgrade to buy again on Steam since I already owned the original, but picking it up on GOG is reason enough to shell out when I'd simply ignore this (unless it had a "loyalty" discount that was *really* good) if it were Steam exclusive again.
Will we get real subforum for this, eventually? With in-dev FAQ (how long are they planning to stay indev and stuff)? Right now all links point to general discussion or generic in-dev information.

Lets put it this way.

The site I got it from doesn't mention its WIP, and as far as I could tell it was a fully functional completed simulator that was finished and just getting updates.
I doubt any PC can precisely simulate n-body problem(classical gravity) at the scale and flow shown on trailer, likely it's some form of "art" simulation. Still, it's very beautiful!

Sounds good then.

Thanks for the info.
Much appreciated.
I loved the first US and US² is incredible. Its probably also the game where humanity bites the dust the most, considering Earth gets destroyed every time anyone touches the game. As long as you see it as a toy and not wholly a tool its tons of fun, though the systems that make the game work are really sophisticated compared to the first US and you definatly can be science-y about it considering the features they included (and will include as development goes on).

For those still unsure about US², its simply the greatest sandbox of all time. It even got me interested into watching YouTube videos of people playing around with it, making up silly things. Its such an entertaining and relaxing game at once and very worth its asking price. You can turn the earth into a micro black hole, suck up all sorts of other planets with it or simply just play God, crashing galaxies together like they're frisbies to bring forth the apocalyse or something while angelic music plays in the background.

Its still pretty much in-dev status though. The dev team behind it really want to smooth previously existing features out while adding more and more things to play around with.
