There is no way you need to give bank username and password anywhere on GOG. What payment method do you use? That sounds like phishing attempt.

My bank is s-pankki.fi but it is adyen.com that wants my s-pankki username and password (I checked there is no s-pankki.fi frame).

This is first time this happens. I have always been forwarded to real s-pankki.fi pages.

Supposedly you can directly e-mail support (at) gog (dot) com. Also see directions for creating a support ticket via chatbot posted by staff. Do you have transaction verification via phone app enabled for the card in question?

No apps here. When I enter my credit card info, seller should verify who I am (Verified by VISA style). My credit card is from my bank so bank’s web site verifies that I am I.

Problem here is it is not my bank that asks my bank username and password. The one asking is adyen.com. I tried to ask from my bank if they know anything about adyen.com.

Also ask your bank if confirming transactions via phone app would bypass that sort of login request.

Mind you, I'm not arguing here. I wouldn't expect any sort of login request during a transaction and I also wouldn't complete the purchase in that case. But I'm also not familiar with all banks in all countries, so I think it's worth covering all the bases.
As mentioned above, Adyen is a payment processor founded in 2006 and headquartered in the Netherlands. So this is all the more puzzling, because it's not a phishing attempt from some shady unknown site.

Surely a reputable payment processor can work out a way of verifying someone's card using a bank's API without requiring the customer to input their bank credentials on the payment processor's site. That's a massive security risk.

Yeah, payment processors have gone in a completely messed up direction. Redirect after redirect, often prompts to enter details on domains normies will never recognize. Often scripts or frames (or both) from a bunch of domains. Also weird browser compatibility issues.

Security people are already struggling hard enough to get people to check their URLs before entering details (so they don't bing their way to some phishing shite) but this sort of thing makes the whole exercise pointless.

Adyen in particular sucks and I've had problems with payments after GOG started using them..

From my bank's digital services terms (Google translation): Online banking credentials and S-mobile identification loaded on the device are personal. They may not be partially handed over or disclosed to an outsider, even if it is a family member, or to a separate application or service.

That means I can't buy anything from GOG.

GoG still allows paypal doesn't it? Why not try that instead. Unless the problem is caused by how your country/bank authenticate transactions and you'll have the same issue there (which means it's not a GoG problem).

My bank tends to just send me a code via SMS for me to input if it thinks the transaction looks a little suspicious.
