Dumplass: Um, guys.

Y'all do realize that you can just set your library to be organized by alphabetic order, right?

I understand that GOG's decision is far from perfect, but the implementation isn't really all that problematic as some make it out to be. But that's just me.
Even the alphabetic sorting is still quite problematic, with Ultima Underworld popping in between Ultima 3 and Ultima 5, incosistent sorting on games that contain "The" in their title (like The Black Mirror), games with 2 in their titles appearing before the first one if the first doesn't contain a number (like DROD 2 appearing before the first DROD, because it's not called DROD 1) and, generally, no idea what games does each bundle necessarily contain (people have expressed their surprise that the Leisure Suit Larry bundle contained a game called Softporn Adventures).

Seriously, will someone please install and compare two separate parts of Heroes Chronicles? I'm really curious to know just how much of those 400+ megabytes is different between campaigns.
I hope there will still be the option to show them as bundles. I mean, choice is always good. That said, I approve of this update.
I really don't care for this. There needs to be a way to toggle this on/off. Some of the unbundling is really counter-productive. For example the Heroes Chronicles. There are practically no circumstances where I'd only want 1 of them. Now I need to do 8 separate downloads to get them all where before it was one convenient download. Please allow us to toggle this on/off.

lordofthepingsDZ: My library is a mess now. No order. it will take hours to sort it all out. This could be a good idea, but only if we get at last the possibility to generate folders in our library e.g. for different genres, series, developers etc.
Hope it's not too late, but don't sort them before GOG completed the unbundling. The save function is broken at the moment. I wasted some hours two days ago just to find my collection messed up again when I visited it the next time.
"Unbundling games makes them easier to organize"??!
In a Library in which you don't have multiple selection????!??

Now I have unbundled bundles of 5 to 10 games, and they were forcefully moved to the bottom of my library.
I have to drag each and every one of them ONE BY ONE across DOZENS of shelves (my collection is pretty big)... At least give us the ability to select multiple games.

Also, please give those of us that don't like this change the ability to collapse a bundle. I don't like some of the games in the bundles and now I'll have to explicitly hide them. Collapsing the bundle is better.
Ugh, I gotta clean up my library again now to how I like it, made worse because now I have to guess what some games go in front of what. Honestly, I'd rather keep them bundled up, I don't like having everything separate and having to guess what goes where. This doesn't improve the service for me, it just makes things harder to organize and keep straight.
I like this change!
The counter now shows 100 more games, but I believe it's more manageable this way

Branais: It means so many more titles to manage and house, more storage space required for duplicated data (including, presumably, multiplied copies of DOSBox code),
dosbox was always duplicated in each installer. So now you have 100 duplicates instead of 90 ...
it seems kinda dishonest to pretend that this now suddenly is such a huge problem.

or are you requesting that GOG should "unbundle" dosbox from the game installer ? :p
I can already imagine the outrage if they were to do that *g*
Very happy to see this. Perhaps this will also allow future customizations to our shelves. Perhaps folders? Then we can sort however we like.

Either way, this is a welcome change. Also happy to see possible progress on Galaxy.

Well, I'd really prefer a separated GOG installer from the base game..
One DOSbox to rule them all!
All the forum links for the individual games are broken. Nice job! <shakes head>

I really wish this had been a toggle rather than a mandate from on high.

StickOfPlywood: Nope, too late, Spellforce 2 and it's expansions already got unbundled. Spellforce 1 is next, LOL!

Matruchus: Ahem, Spellforce 2 was always unbundled on gog.com since Spellforce 2 series was always sold separately here. Gog did not offer a Spellforce 2 bundle like other services.
Oh yeah... woops! xD

Well... SpellForce 1 is still next! MWAHAHAHA!

A side-by-side comparison of the first two chapters. An installation of each chapter takes about 480 MB and out of them, only about 50 are different, which means a wasted 430 MB for every installed chapter (amounts to over 3 GB for all 8 separately), compared to the bundled version's 710 MB installation for all chapters.
