IAmSinistar: Sadly not, at least not to my knowledge. Thankfully we still have some awesome source ports of that one to enjoy.
Source ports are a bit useless without the game in question, though. I'm not even sure if there are currently any CD-Rom versions of the games circulating and even if they are, I wonder if they require an arm and a leg to acquire them.JAAHAS

What I think about the change is this:
1. Anything that can be played without going back to desktop should not be unbundled.
2. It already annoys me that games bought at the same time don't end up in alphabetical order on the shelf, now I have 13 games between the first Tomb Raider and the rest of the bundle. Hopefully these things can be fixed without totally restructuring the database.
3. When you need to change the cover-art, I would prefer something like what was done for Ultima VII:BG+FoV & VII:SI+SS than what Wing Commander 1 and 2 got.

Some of these are full clones I believe, game and all. Though if so, I suppose they enter a nebulous area. I concur that it would be best to have the originals reissued, and I am still working on that as much as I can.

Matruchus: The new Heroes Chronicles has supposedly the base game delivered eight times now together with the new scenarios. That's basically the problem. You get the Heroes engine eight times plus the small size the scenarios are.
skeletonbow: Ok, that does sound kind of dumb then. How did the game originally ship when it first came out way back when, piecemeal? It sounds like it should be a game + a bunch of DLC perhaps? Here's a pic of the four I own in CD-ROM form.

I'd rather not rely on abandonware, so I'm awaiting good news (and not "good news") from you. :)

Well, this version isn't abandonware so much as a meticulous decompilation and rebuild of the original. But yes, still not the same as having the original. :)TrevorWilliams

ssokolow: I can't remember whether they did any deduplication when installing, but they they originally shipped as individual CDs. Here's a pic of the four I own in CD-ROM form.
And has anyone actually installed multiple Chronicles after this unbundling? Perhaps it doesn't recreate the base game each time and doesn't really take up the extra space.

It's not the installation size, but that of the installers. Previously, you have a single 660MB installer, now you have 8 400+MB installers.

Shouldn't be too difficult, because each unbundled part has a unique ID number and these numbers are already in the correct order, so GOG just needs to partly sort based on these too.

TrevorWilliams: Jealous that you own four of them. I'm a HOMM freak but only tracked down three of them so far. Here's a pic of the four I own in CD-ROM form.

I don't get how this is supposed to make it easier to organize, if anything it's more of a pain. I don't want to download individual expansion packs for each game.
