What's this for?
Did you GOG stuff guys got bored or something?

I can understand unbundling titles like Cultures 1&2, but WHY the hell would you unbundle tiles like Heroes Chornichles, it's a complete mess now!?!

In Galaxy having games unbundled like this is preferred but on the library shelf it's not in my opinion.
I hope the shelf will still be alive when Galaxy comes so that we can use Galaxy for playing and Shelf for back ups.

Since there are now games missing from my Library (for example parts of Ultima VII) I would like to know when this unbunding is going to be completed so I can make a proper check of my games and see which of my games have disappeared for good from my account.

They do? What's missing from Ultima 7?

Ciris: This process will take about a week, so be patient and the system will get to your game shelf as well! :)
So, this has turned in, like, the longest week ever. Any news?

erm ; well it's gog's fault

Ultima 7 The Complete Edition / size = 30 MB

-> now it's labelled

Ultima VII - Serpent Isle / size = 24 MB
Ultima VII - The Black Gate + The Forge of Virtue / size = 24 MB

if those are missing try an account refresh (or contact the support if this doesn't work)

not happy to have no more the package.....

i agree this isn't easy (to say the least) if something is missing or not

Grimm--ONE GAME--is now split into three "seasons"--all of which have to be downloaded *separately* just to get the FULL game? Come on, this is stupid as hell, and very annoying. Fix it, bring it back as ONE game on the shelf with ONE installer. Same with the insanity that was already mentioned about Heroes Chronicles and similar games. On the other hand, I do like the idea of unbundling games--but ONLY if those games were actually separate games to begin with. Penumbra trilogy? I'm all for it--just be sure to give us Linux versions finally (and can we have Amnesia on Linux as well, while we're on the subject?). Duke Nukem1 & 2? Come get some. Tomb Raider 1+2+3? Bring it on. However, I agree with others who have stated that while having multiple installers for multiple *games* is a good idea, we're probably better off having fewer entries on our shelves, and just putting all three separate, say, Tomb Raider installers, under just ONE umbrella entry. Many of these "new" shelf entries look ugly anyway.

According to the store page, Ultima 7 Ultimate is made up of the games

Ultima 7 The Complete Edition includes: Ultima 7: The Black Gate, Ultima 7: Forge of Virtue, Ultima 7 Part Two: Serpent Isle, Ultima 7 Part Two: The Silver Seed.

In my library I have Ultima VII - The Black Gate + The Forge of Virtue and Ultima VII - Serpent Isle . Where is The Silver Seed? Is the Silver Seed combined with Serpent Isle? If yes, how the fudge should I know it? Guess it? If not, where the fudge is it?

This unbundling has been as far as I am concerned, nothing but a complete and utter fuck up.

Agreed. I could have done better and I'm just a uni. student renting a room in a basement. (Though, admittedly, I am aiming for a career focused around UI/UX design and I've also got a mild obsessive perfectionist streak to my personality. That definitely helps.)

I can see why the downloads were unbundled, as neither we nor GOG benefit from being forced to download games we don't want to play in order to play the one we do. But my game library is all over the place.

In the Battle Isle bundle for instance, I have Battle Isle, Battle Isle 2 and Battle Isle 3 which are fairly easy to find, but I also have Historyline and Incubation, which show up under 'H' and 'I' if I sort alphabetically.

Also, since I purchased most of my games in sales, half a dozen or so games at a time, many bundled games do not appear together if I sort by purchase date, since there are other games with the exact same time of purchase. Tomb Raider, for instance, is orphaned from it's sequels.

We need a way to put games from the same series together. Even something as simple as a couple more sorting options would be nice. Sorting by purchase date should put games from the same bundle together anyway, there is no reason why the first three Tomb Raider games shouldn't be together.

Both Amnesia games have (sneakily) got the Linux version last week:

I tried some stuff about the broken shelf sorting. The number of games that no longer will allow manual sorting is 627. As long as you have 626 games or less in your library, you can sort the games just fine. When you have more games you can still sort them, but the sorting won't be saved once you leave the shelf.

For some strange reasons only visible games count. You can hide some games to bring down the count to 626 and everything will work again. Unfortunately it's still not possible to completely sort the library using this trick. When you unhide games again, they won't show up at the exact spot they were before you hid them (mostly they are some boxes away).

Think I will send a message to support about the problem, but somehow I doubt they will fix it.
Such an awful mess. I really wish GOG didn't foist this on members who didn't want or ask to be "unbundled," such as myself. Especially with titles over 15 years old. I'd prefer the installers to just be changed to the individual titles, or keep them as they are just with the option of installing some games in a series.

Or we could toggle the function.

Ugh, what an eyesore and a bloated mess of a shelf.
This is still up for grabs:

erm you are right, but since GOG isn't reliable (my words are too soft there) with this unbundling, maybe silver seed is included with serpent isle......

they maybe missed to write correctly the tille.

So i have to install every potential problematic game to see what is actually included? You see the problem with that, right?

Anyway, I would be far more upset if I didn't recently (before the unbundling) finished bucking up all my gog games.
But I hope they finish the unbundling ASAP and do it the right way.
