It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Thanks for taking the time to test it mrkgnao, I'll try again tomorrow, now I must sleep.

all the best
Since you messing with the game list bit anyway could you add support for filters of this kind
/^m*$/i max:20
where the first part it is just plain regular expression in javascript format (retrieving only titles matching the filter) and max:20 indicates a max of 20 titles per page, pages take too long to load on large collections otherwise.
I just took a couple of hours and arranged my newly shuffled shelf of 211 titles.
Probably a wasted effort, but I was bored anyways.
I am genuinely perplexed by all this seeming preoccupation with how one's shelf looks. I'm an OCD hoarder collector in some areas, yet it never occurred to me to ever look at my GOG shelf. I go there to download a game every week or six, but have never spent more than a few seconds looking at it. It honestly surprises me at how big of an issue this appears to be. Of course, I'm glad everyone isn't like me, that'd be a scary world.
What happened to the original quest for glory?
There's only the VGA one on this list

The installer contains both versions for the time being.
My only problem with the unbundling is that the titles of the unbundled games do not link to the store page of the collection. Not only does this add more steps to get to the store page, but some games are not named is such a way that their collection is easily identifiable. Without prior knowledge, would you know what collections Deus or Softporn Adventure belong to?

HypersomniacLive: Yep, we're doomed. Let's see how long it takes for the Good news!™ mrkgnao mentioned to make the front page. Count starts from the moment of the official realease of the client, of course.

Love that this has been done. Thank you!!

This issue should remind everyone to always backup their collections in case a distributor screws you over...
At first I was mad but I am getting used to it. Especially for the games like Master of Orion. I only play the first game and for 20 MB I had to download 200MB. And you need to be a computer guy to seperate the two of them.
I believe some people have complained about issues with the GOG downloader as a result of the unbundling.

To test this, I just downloaded all the unbundled games under the letters A and B and found no major issue, unless you count less-than-ideal directory names as an issue (my favourite -- betrayal_at_krondor_copy3), but frankly I consider this a lost battle (perhaps because I do not use the downloader myself).

Anyhow, if you have issues with downloading specific games, or would like to compile a list of funny directory names, please post details here.

ChrisSZ: I am sure the day will come when they say "Sorry, we won't update the games on the website anymore. Please use Galaxy".

mrkgnao: GOG never says things like that.

It says "Good news. From today all your games will be automatically patched on the fly without you ever again needing to manually download them through the browser".

P.S. I hadn't noticed until now that we have both a ChrisSD and a ChrisSZ. Are you related?
Ha, that's so true. But you forgot to add "As requested by many users..." ;-)

Btw, is it possible that nowadays already the GOG Downloader uses different sources (stored on edgecastcdn.net), whereas the domain is gog.com when you download via browser directly from the website? Currently I cannot use the GOG Downloader since edgecastcdn.net is blocked at my location (China) and can only download via browser.

It might use a different domain, but I have compared files downloaded from the downloader and the browser thousands of times over the years and never were they different (barring network failures), so I would say they take their files from the same source.

P.S. Where in China?

Shenzhen. (That's also what the SZ in my user name stands for. But not related to ChrisSD ;-)

Thanks for the info! I only realized that end of last year the file location changed when you download directly via browser. Before last December or so the files were downloaded from edgecastcdn.net, now directly from gog.com.
