i see a blue has responded and I appreciate that, it is very worrying that this can even happen, waiting on an indepth explanation once the error has been found and fixed.

Firek: Sorry about the untimely reply - the person who originally handled your case fell ill, and no one picked it up until recently. We're experiencing increased traffic following the Gwent Public Beta launch, but still - this should not have happened.

As for your issue, it's an extremely rare case, and we've got top men investigating its root cause. There is currently no indication of it being a widespread issue.

We have set up a procedure in Support regarding fixing it, so my minions will immediately know how to assist.
Is gog to implement some sort of flag when this happens or make some preventative measure? What about the ability to resend receipts to your email?
Is this related to the bug where the Games listed on the toolbar drop-down is different than the number of games listed in the game shelf?

I'm hoping that was meant as a tongue-in-cheek comment. You do know how that phrase is viewed around here, don't you?

I'm absolutely certain it was.

Thanks for addressing the issue Firek. :)

Thanks for your assuring assurance, Overlord!
Would feel better to know the "root cause".

Jamiebourne: This, so much this. Ever since they did the fake shutdown of the site, I DL every game I buy as soon as I can.

Trilarion: Seems logical, but then some guys are more lazy (or have less big HD space)
True, but of course I was speaking only for myself. :) I have a crapton of storage (several TBs worth of drives), so it's not an issue for me.

Trilarion: and there are updates to games sometimes. Do you run gogrepo regularly with the update feature?
Previously I was just updating when patches were released. I really like that I have the original files and the incremental patches for some of my earlier purchases. Once GOG moved to just updating the entire installer, I started DLing them - so I have some games with several different installer versions (yeah, I'm an incorrigible packrat). Now that their notifications are... gone, I guess it's time to get gogrepo up and running.

Does this mean you really don't have additional bandwidth via an extra server for GWENT?
That's what people were gossiping around lately.

Has GOG confirmed that's a bug? And have you hidden any games in your library? If they haven't and you have, I'm not sure it's an actual bug. The library counter doesn't include any hidden games, while the nav-bar one does. At least this is the case for me.

I appreciate the response.

I can say to everyone that GOG have now restored the games to my account that I told them were missing. Thank you support for doing that.

(Although there is no way I should of had to go on a public forum to get a response, but at least they sorted it and you guys are now aware that you need to check and keep records in this increasingly digital age.)

However, I'm now concerned that I haven't found all of the ones that disappeared...

Hopefully a happy ending then, but it has spooked me for sure.

The new users brought in by Galaxy, the Witcher 3 and Gwent are much more important than all the members that helped keep GOG solvent from 2008 to 2014, look at how quickly GOG throws the old membership under the bus. It would at least be nice if GOG would have the courage of their convictions to directly say as much in public, but then again I don't actually need that confimation of my suspicions because actions do speak louder than words. Thank you GOG for reaffirming the correctness of my decision to vote with my wallet & save myself money in light of your contiuing purposeful actions...

So, which games? You can tell, even if it was "Lula the Sexy Empire" or even "Daggerfall" (shudder!).

What's wrong with Daggerfall?
