I contacted support but after looking through my paypal history I realized I'm missing a bunch of games. they don't even show up in my purchased history.

I can see the games in Paypal and the transactions went through but the games are gone now. I downloaded them when I first got to them but wasn't able to play them until now. I have the games on my HD but GOG says I don't own them anymore. I even own the dlc for the base game I bought during the winter sale. X4: Foundations. the dlc is split Vendetta.

I wanted to buy something today but I had seen a few games I know I own showing up like I didn't own them in my wishlist .

X4 was expensive for me and Home world too. I'm a little shaken by this but i have the order numbers thanks to paypal. The robot tech support won't help it just keeps looping.

Thanks all. I started building a game library here because I didn't like Steam anymore but this is a problem I did not have there in my 14 years there.

When I look on https://www.gog.com/en/account the games show up but not in Galaxy but if I try to download them it says I don't own them. Nooooo

Are you absolutely, 100% positive you're logged into the correct account?

You can try moving the C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage folder to the desktop while GOG Galaxy isn't running. When you next start it, you should be prompted to log in. Afterwards, it will import your list of owned games from the server.
If that doesn't help, you can delete the newly created folder and put the old one back. If that does help, you can import your installed games by clicking the cogwheel in the top left, choosing Add Games & Friends, then Scan Folders for GOG Games. To open a support ticket, tell the chatbot the issue is of type "other" twice. Alternatively, you can try e-mailing support@gog.com directly.

Thanks for the help and reply. Yes I'm 1000% sure Im logged in to my account. It's the only one I have and it has the same picture i took during a snowstorm.

I'ts not just a galaxy issue because the games aren't even showing in my order history on the website. It shows in my collection on the website but if I try to download the offline installer it says I dont own the base game even though I absolutely own it. Im going to attach a screenshot.

Well, if you hae the original emails and paypal transaction ids, there should be little problem restoring those. It just sucks it's going to take a little bit to do so.

Thanks for all the replies and help I'm just bummed. I can still play the games but if anything ever happens to the files or hard drive than I'm screwed. I wrote a email to support so it's probably going to take awhile but I really hope it can get restored. This is the first time this has happened to me on GOG . I have been here since 2016.

Not every DLC has standalone entry in library, most doesn't. It even says at the bottom of OP's screenshot if you look closely.

There are no shelf entries for DLC. This happened with Hard West II. Many people who hadn't bought it were blessed with a DLC in their library, making them think they had been awarded the game. It was a pretty fair sized kerfuffle here. But if you have DLC without the main game, it shows up as the main game.

I definitely bought both because I told several people after I bought it that I finally pulled the trigger. My one friend wanted me to get it for years but I was obsessed with No Mans Sky at the time but than I finally got burned out on that game. I streamed the tutorial section for my friend who wanted to help me get used to it since it's much different than NMS. I didn't continue because some rl stuff came up and I haven't touched it for months because I got distracted.

I have the purchase for Split Vendetta in my Order history but X4 Foundations is missing despite me having the transaction in my paypal account. The order # before Split Vendetta does not show up in GOG order history but the paypal order for the Split Vendetta dlc does

How does something like this even happen. I can understand maybe a glitch in the shelf but too not even have a record in the order history!? How? I'm a little worried now because Im looking through all my paypal orders and Im searching order numbers and more don't show up!!! I don't know for what games but I should be able to trust these will still be in my order history. Thank goodness i save all my paypal receipts but even than it only tells so much.

ok np. Just a little on edge. I think I'm just going to take a break from the computer for a bit today. I'm just glad I was looking through my Wishlist for sales because I might have never noticed and started thinking my memory was bad or something. I swear I played loads of hours of Torchlight 2 on here but maybe it was somewhere else even though I can't find it anywhere else. I wish paypal would keep a log of the games names with the order numbers. Thankfully I remembered the winter sale and the stream i did for my friend because i was happy I got this game otherwise I would be questing myself.
