Breja: I will never take part in any of those gambling sales. I find the very idea ridiculous and annoying. It's a store, not a casino, and the squirrel ain't no dabo girl.
Well, I have avoided them in the past and decided to try my luck today before seeing the thread about what was actually available in their "mystery game" stable. Lesson learned! No more gambling on GOG.

I also learned the lesson last time. Only games I didn't like. Gambling is not worth it.

Fictionvision: I got it also. However I decided to try two games and got Gray Matter, which looks interesting. I'll get around to playing it soon.
Gray matter is pretty great, you really do need a guide for some puzzles though.

I picked up Aquaria. It's not really a bad game, I just think I would enjoy it more if I still did drugs.

I haven't learned my lesson yet.

I resisted the pinata temptation, but I'm probably going to give this a go. I see the list of games in the tracking thread and there are very few I even remotely want, but the gambler in me wants to give it a try.

Maybe I'll get one of the games I do want. Or I could get a game I've never heard about and end up loving it. Or trade/GA the game. Or worst case, I'd finally be able to say: "I've learnt my lesson. Don't gamble on GOG."

Got Space Colony HD. Well, I've learnt not to gamble...
Could have been worse though: a point and click adventure.

After a bit of research it's not so bad. I do like RTSs and city management games, so this might turn out one of those "get a game I've never heard about and end up loving it" cases.

bug is fixed now...

my original mystery game was crimsonland... hmm... have to see, probably too arcadey for my tastes though...

tried again and got apotheon which I had been considering since it first came out, so I guess good...

...and then....

... I made the mistake of a third try and got:
Raiden III

bleh arcade game.

I started playing that one recently ( Gray Matter ). I'm only a few hours in, but overall it seems to be one of the better P&C Adventure games I've played. A great main character and some interesting game mechanics -- definitely worth a look.

Count me in as one who shouldn't gamble since I'm rather unlucky.

But maybe this time would be different.....

Nope

Got Grey Matter that I already own on Steam and Gamers Gate and it's an adventure game and I don't really like those to begin with.

Only gamble I might take again is the Square Enix surprise box. It's not perfect but it does satisfy the desire for gambling while having a good chance of giving me games I would like.

That game looks like shit just by having a quick glance. Cartoony art-style always means bad news.

Yeah, that is not a bad result at all. The voice acting alone is worth it. "Doesn't anybody want to talk to Tammy?"

I've played a bit of it, and what i did play i enjoyed. However i'm not big on point&click so i haven't completed it myself.
