lanipcga: If You Could Live In Any Game World...
...it probably would be Skyrim.
Some nice place in the wilderness to place a hut.
A river and some wood nearby to fish and hunt...I wouldn't need more.
Warhammer 40k. Still better than Italy! :P

Any Crusader Kings II timeline, preferably in the current time. Imagine the interesting discussions to be had about the time the Catholic church had Glitterhoof the Horse as the Pope.

TheMonkofDestiny: Myst, maybe. The potential of so many different places available to explore is an interesting concept.
i was going to say just that, or riven. just hanging out and hearing that breeze and insects whirring by would be awesome, naturally avoiding the skanky bits where the boys were
Since Myst was already taken, I'm thinking Sosaria/Britannia. Around the time of Ultima IV. After the end of Mondain, during the time of relative peace.

The lands of the Elder Scrolls are a bit too non-peaceful for my liking, and many of the lands are just too large for their own good. Plus there's the bugs and a good chance some git wearing a bucket would gank me.

I suppose if my hand was forced into a chaotic world, I'd cheat a bit and maybe go to the world of Sam & Max.

If that's invalid, I guess Jazzpunk is fairly safe for a chaotic world.

Vingry: For me, it would be the Zone from the STALKER franchise. I love how the sense of desolation that the place radiates over its every inch, both dissuades and calls to the hearts of a few people to come (mainly due to the fact that the Zone being a trove of artifacts worth of millions of dollars). The different communities that you encounter always gesture at you an invitation that you belong there. From the bars full of drunken men trying to drink their free times away, down to the small resting spots usually filled with two to four guys around a campfire chatting with one another. Be it surrounded by other STALKERS or not, the calming scenery that the Zone has to offer are already ample to make you want to stay.

But then again, that's still Earth.

Oddeus: There are no women in Stalker...
So basically a perfect world.

Only if you are into radioactive mutants :)
The Pokémon world seems exciting and safe at the same time. There are lots of places to explore. Most problems and apocalyptic situations can be solved by friendly battles with amazing creatures where no one really gets hurt. Plus, who wouldn't want to have a Charmander?

Honestly at most I would like to be in the world of Evenicle. PRoblem is because of PTSD I suffer from an eating disorder which makes my live there either hell or impossible. So second choice would be WoD as a Mage or of Monster Girl Dreams
Manaan from Knights of the Old Republic
Thinking more of this question, Pokemon would be the obvious answer.

- A world that is full of cool animals.
- The logistics for slaughter and general animal transportation would be excellent, just fill a truck full of pokeballs.
- You don't have to give up video games, TV or computers to live there. In fact, you have all the comforts of the regular modern world.
- As a man, it's socially acceptable to abandon your kids to pursue your dream of catching animals while never seeing your kids.
- As a woman, you can encourage your 10-year-old to explore the world and leave you the fuck alone instead of having to wait until they turn 18. Just call them once a week with facetime and you're parent of the year material.

I want to live in a world a bit more idylic but not too different from ours as I would have too much problems adapting to it.

I think the world of Syndicate comes closest.
I'd pick the world of Fantasy Life. Magic, adventures and job hopping!
I would live in Skellige from The Witcher 3.
