Will it be good to go on my new Win 10 computer.
I am most interested in older games like Alpha Centauri, Might and Magic 7, and Morrowind.

I am not very tech savvy so I'm afraid of making adjustments in settings and things like in files.

On every game's page you'll find a list of operating systems it works on under "Game Details". The games you mentioned all list Win 10.

If a game lists Win 10 as an OS it works on on its game page it should work straight out of the box.

Some games may require minor modifications to get them working, but GOG support and the forums are quite useful for making them work if they don't.

Most of them should work just fine. GOG try their best to make older games compatible with modern systems. Every game, on its store page, has listed systems it's intended to work on, as well as system requirements. Before purchasing a game, you can see reviews and visit dedicated subforum to check if there aren't any complaints.

If for some reason you have troubles, GOG has support and guarantees that if they can't fix unforeseen problems on your computer meeting system requirements, they will give you money back.

If I may suggest, try some free games available here to see how the process looks. And if you wait several days (well, maybe a bit more, who knows), we kind of expect a big sale because of GOG's 10th birthday. It could potentially save you a lot of money.

And if they don't work even though the game page says they should (provided you let GOG support help you try and find a solution) you can get a refund, so there's no real risk.

+1 for adailabooks' post. For the game specific forums, go to https://www.gog.com/forum -> in the bottom left search bar, search for the game title or, in some cases, game series. And if that doesn't help, contact Support using the button on top and following the instructions.

"Right out of the box" can't be 100% guaranteed because of technical reasons, but GOG aims for that and, again, people can help you, and under certain circumstances you're entitled to a refund.
