Forgot Embracer Group acquired Gearbox, thanks for the reminder.

Embracer also owns Coffee Stain Studios so it would be nice if they released the Sanctum series on GOG.
Neat - can't believe it's been 10 years! It's weird I was *just* looking up information on Expeditions: Rome (was in the mood to play something in that vein and was curious about its release date).

I remember the last big THQ announcement years ago when they teased a handful of games...

... since then I actually really enjoyed Fade to Silence and Biomutant. I feel like Biomutant could have been "more" - but everything it did it did really well. Had a lot of fun stuff mashed into it and the combat was pretty John Wu cool. I feel like they could have benefited from a few more unique quests (some of the boss quests and base storming quests - or maybe the bunkers - but projected into the open world).

As it was, building gear and exploring the colorful biomes was pretty cool. Wish they had incorporated the vehicles into a few more areas but there you have it.
One of the six new announcements likely is the Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed remaster/remake that was leaked earlier this week.

Wow,last I read about Embracer group though is that they would be for the most part hands off with each division so Gearbox may still decide not to release anything on GOG. which is a shame would be nice to get the Duke and Borderlands library here.

Well, I heard that Embracer is going to provide creative freedom to each game developing department (but for how long?), as for the publishing I think they might persuade Mr. Pitchford to reconsider given that they are in good terms with GOG.
Thanks for the info Swedrami.

A far cry from when they had people on 8chan. The least they could do would be to host it on alternative streaming sites.

The Showcase will be hosted by Geoff Keighley, executive producer and host of The Game Awards.
Also known as the "Dorito Pope".

On the THQ Nordic Showcase, six new game announcements will be made on a journey through time and space. Witness the return of legendary franchises, where the fans are waiting for decades to get their hands on a new installment, sequels to beloved games, and new original IPs.
Maybe they will bring the Dead Island games here.
''UPDATE: Gearbox is also making a Duke Nukem film, and it's possible Randy Pitchford was talking about this movie and not a new game''

Well, I guess your choices are World Tour or Atomic Editon. Be cool to get the PS One stuff on PC mind

§pec†re: Maybe they will bring the Dead Island games here.
That franchise belongs to Deep Silver which is it's own publisher division, inside Embracer.

This showcase is only for THQ Nordic, so expect only franchises they own: Darksiders, Destroy All Humans, Titan Quest, Elex, Outcast, to name a few.
T-minus 1 minute (for the pre show).
