I'd hope people can look past that. (Besides, I think it's kind of beautiful in its own way, just not impressive in a technical sense.)

It's not a bad game per se but the fact that you need a mod to even get a higher internal resolution and a somewhat constant framerate (which still goes to shit in certain places) is off-putting. From what I hear, it's also a pain in various body parts to get used to wonky M/KB controls which I haven't even bothered with.
I also happen to suffer from a rare, but not unique issue with this game only: Blue Screens. Not really an argument, as I've only found 3 or 4 other people who've experienced that, but it's a thing.

Yes that is true, you more or less need the mods. Everyone has a different rig so you get different results.
It could very well be that my brother and ENB are in the minority as far as performance results go.
That does happen with certain games, like with the recent Batman game, where some had no problems at all while the majority seemed to have had major problems.

Nah, not even. I believe DSFix does fix it for most people.
It happens. If Fallout New Vegas never crashes, for example, there's probably something wrong.
