I have a small YouTube channel dedicated to retro gaming and this week I decided to review Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2. Sadly, I found it's not as good as the original.

Very good review! Unfortunately Defiance follows the same formula as Soul Reaver 2 in terms of gameplay, but at least there is more variety in terms of the number of characters that one can control.

If remember correctly though, Raziel and Kain played nearly identical in defiance

Really enjoy the parts when you give the physical disc and manual a look. Soul Reaver 1 cover is truly something else.

If I remember correctly, Kain has some skills that differentiate him a bit from Raziel, but it's like you said, they are identical in gameplay.

Like the metre long blood sucking. The games themselves are being sold cheaply this sale. It's a pity the very first game isn't on GoG.
