XeonicDevil: question do you think a turn based online multiplayer cyberpunk fps rpg will sell?
i'm trying my best to finish it up.
i also have a port for android and linux.
it also runs on a microcontroller.. idk why i did that.. but i did.
Lord_Kane: it might, but I play a imsim written by a drunkard set in a post nuclear mexico so you might be able to find success with a niche. i'm trying my best to finish it up.

Breja: You really really game video games? Or do you really really video video games? Or do you perhaps really really game game games?
Lord_Kane: I really really really GAME VIDEO GAMES GAME but thats me. classes are very open to play style where you can really build some weird characters with very dynamic skill trees.
the enemies/npc's are quite fun with tons of interactions.
at times 4 players will be split up entirely, other times thet will need to group up to slay the next encounter.
weapons have their own skill tree's and upgrades.
it enforces you working with a team mate to reap rewards, but makes sure solo players get a fair fight with a few system in place.
this will be my first game i am reaching the point of completion and i'm scared of failing everyone because i realy have made effort to keep pretty current.. i mean i sit at home all day with a ton of energy and a hyper active brain that wont sit still or sleep.
so i just watch anime, movies, blast music, and play anything i can play.
Randalator: I bet they couldn't even hardcode a simple OS that keeps the transversal shimmy springs in a retro encabulator magnetically aligned with the gyroscopic straylanes of an external volt clamp module.
vv221: Don’t be silly, anyone who has gone through high school would know how to do that. i cracked that code long ago.
i thought it was pure common knowledge.. turns out.. not..

I once killed a bear. Then revived it, just so that I could kill it again.

Randalator: You'd think that but a ridiculously large number of people can't even wrap their heads around slant APIs, let alone the gradient blane monitors. Maybe because they have to be put into a C# injector, which is admittedly a bit counter-intuitive if you've only ever used trexels.
always wrap your head. then we find out it was aliens from the earths core, that defrosted thanks to global warming and their here to transport us to the think o thorium where we solve math problems with flying sentient dolphins.

Perhaps none of your work is in a state you deem worthy of release, but if you love crafting games, do you have any projects (even incomplete ones) that you are able to show or share with us? Aside from that which you are trying your best to finish up, I'm sure you would rather keep it a surprise.

Seems no matter what developer/publisher you choose you get to find skeletons in the closet somewhere.

I am curious about a Johny now, and I wasn't before. It was an empty character with an actor's face, no connection, togetherness, oneness something in common. I feel the character now. He believed in something, delivered it, couldn't live off it, and needed to contain the pain.
We've got you covered live, XeonicDevil; they used your pain to deliver art. Even now, you are working on your ideas. ...and getting people interested in emotions invested in the CP77 game.

In my 35 years of being a gamer yes i started at 7, i have learned to code games myself, learn the art of soldering, became a engineer, physicist, artist and writer with sound engineering skills too....
I speak 27 programming languages and can pretty much read any code to a hardware level.
and you know how many people gave me a chance ? no one..
i hate video game developers... their all evil on some level.
problem is when a video game does something unexpected i have the brains to freeze the whole system and dump the memory to dig around.
Nice story bucko, or worrisome, except I am not sure I believe it all. In my 35 years of being a gamer yes i started at 7, i have learned to code games myself, learn the art of soldering, became a engineer, physicist, artist and writer with sound engineering skills too....

Have you looked at every game, including those that don't do something unexpected?
As for the rest, I am sorry to hear of your troubles, and wish the world had treated you better.
Have you ever dabbled in the AutoIt programming language?
That's mostly all I use these days, and while it isn't the most powerful coding language out there by a long shot, it is a great tool to have in your programming toolbox, and super easy to use, being somewhat similar to a Basic language, only better.
I was always going to create a computer game, and even started a half arsed attempt, before life lead me in other directions.
In a way, I'd hate to be a game coder or developer, certainly in the current climate, and especially if not self employed. I don't imagine it is much of a pursuit of pleasure with all the pressures and funding issues and cutbacks. Wouldn't be wise to get too invested in your work at times.
Unfortunately it has become a financial investment thing, so money rules the roost much of the time. The same of course, goes for other forms of media entertainment. It tends to be mostly about profit, and less about quality and innovation, though things are somewhat better in the Indie world.
The thing is, we as gamers, collectively let them get away with it and encourage them to do so.
