Ever feeling like something not working out or worth effort and want to quit and do somethign else? I feeling that way about many things lately. What should I do? I don't know. Maybe play some more games I guess. During times like this ones I feel like drinking or turning to comforts like games and tv and foods. Or should I try to soldier on and continue?

What's the trouble? It's hard to find help when we don't know what's bothering you.

It's just the general feeling of the blehs. Lots of little things adding up to such. Idiots in traffic who don't seem to know how to be driving a vehicle, idiots in stores who complain over the nonsense like being 2 items over the item limit for the fast lines, keeping up with some IRL activities to appear and feel part of 'normal society' while losing interest in them. In the end not looking for help just a fiendly ear now and again. Same as most folk I expecting.

Video games not listed above unfortunately, but not necessarily excluded.

Note that the age ranges for the second link above represent typical ages, but not necessarily exactly when those crises are resolved.

Not a crisis just another day of the week. Been to therapies now and again. Many of them only write notes or push pills with sweetly smiles. I thinking I may be part bipolar. Who knows.

Thanking the gods of the digital ethers!
Yeah the psychologist side is overly dramatic but I like the theories - they are like life milestones.

Not got kids but lots of nephews and nieces who you can pass on expert knowledge to? -> Generativity achievement (tick)

Life milestones makes me thinking of running out of sands in the hourglass. I playing my life mainly by ear. And not many relatives left. Getting older tends to lead to that the longer life goes on.
Yep that's life. But as you get older you can just exist and then die, or you can do something that will last beyond your life.

Join a club or society, or get involved in society. If you're not that sociable then just meet up with friends and start a tradition.

Look at what the young kids are doing to socialise and copy them (rip off the good bits without the embarassing bits ;) )

Ever read the Obstacle is the way by Ryan Holiday?

The obstacle is the way.

There are good bits of the modern generations? I joking. Not trying to leave a mark, and only a few leave a mark that is lasting any good amount of time anyways. Just another sod going through middle of life, but at least we having games.

What is one is comfortable with obstacles in the way? I am too lazy to move past them and lack mental dynamites. Sometimes I try to see what I can do with this or that thing though. Progress?!

I get it - my mum passed away recently, and she was the last of that generation to go in my family.

Your relatives that have passed on lived in a different world to you. The world is always changing.

Learn from your ancestors, and pass on their goodness to the next generation. And learn from the younger generation (while ignoring the bullshit).

What if you live to 110? Imagine being stuck in your ways and then having to cling to the past for 40 more years than you were expecting to live!

40 more years to complain then. Sounds fun! But what will I be complaining about? Will run out of things eventually.

Trump Jr. Jr.?

I guess what I am saying is that as we get older we tend to engage less, when we need to engage more.

With crime and unsafe societies we need to live according to a risk analysis, but not engaging also contributes to the decline of society. The risk of engaging with other people is low, but the risk of nobody engaging with some people is very high indeed.

They makes me laughing at least. Rest of the world bosses are just sad and boring. Maybe that is being more reason why I am feeling bleh. World is boring. Games are much more interesting!
