Secondly, they were intended to be victims of the xenomorph - which got part of its appearence from them. They did not look human in any way.

I'd go and get my notes from my conversation with Giger, but it would evidently be wasted.

Come on. Everyone knows Tauto is TinyE's dark side. TinyE created that secondary account to restrict all his bad feelings to that online persona, as well as bad GOG games he doesn't want to play to that account.

When TinyE is fighting Tauto, he is fighting his inner demons. It can sometimes be very cathartic, like taking a huge mental dump.

If tinyE did not get banned what makes you think Tauto will ?

Secondly, you make it look like you have the power to ban someone using democratic vote. YOU DON'T. You are powereless on this forum. Your proposals mean nothing here.

Thirdly, you have no serious grounds to ban Tauto. Has he insulted someone, cursed at someone, made juvenile mom jokes or anything similar ?

This kind of reminds one episode from White Collar. The Dentist of Detroit... A criminal genius who was made, but the other criminal was so embarrassed to reveal who the The Dentist really was, that he kept Dentist's character alive. Every criminal would then pin their crimes on Dentist. He became a legend.

But still, darthspudius, don't pin things on other people, this case - tinyE. It just makes life unnecessarily difficult for some people.

Well,...here are my two cents about this:

When it comes to Tauto, I noticed something very interesting.

Nearly all of his posts are tagged "low rated". I mean - really...you have to look out for posts of him, which are not "low rated". (as far as I have seen them, ofc.)

Only here's the thing: Not all of his posts deserve this treatment...shit, I would go so far and pretend not even the majority of his posts (once again: which I have seen) deserve this treatment.

He made some very rational posts - and they got downvoted, nonetheless.

When it comes to Tauto, it seems 'him being Tauto' is enough for a lot of users here to downvote his posts - which is a pretty shitty behavior of a community, if you ask me!

That's called Mob-mentality.

If he acts in a way that "demands" downvoting (by being insulting, etc.) - sure...press the minus button - I did it myself in the past, and will do so in the future...IF there is a reason!

But do it not just because Tauto is Tauto.
That's pretty poor.

In theory I'd agree, but if the guy has been a total a**hole in 200 posts and not in 10 and he hasn't even changed attitude.. who cares about those 10 undeserved downreps (also some posts appear tame out of contest, due to the stupid auto-deletion).

Well, like I said - I havn't seen all of his posts (most seem to be in threads, I don't read), and from the ones I have seen, I know he can be very insulting.

And in that case: press minus - like I do.

BUT: I have seen posts of him, where he was helpful to (new) users with a question, and others, where he was one of the more rational posters in a thread, and still - his posts got downrepped.

Now, if you think, downvoting his "good" posts, just because he also made (lots of) "bad" posts is fair... well, I have to say, I disagree.
