It was a galaxy/universal defense game i played in 2012 . It takes place in the galaxy , where we have to build machines , various type of machines do defend whatever we have to . We have to buy slots for the machines and place them down , money can be gained from killing the creatures which are invading our planet . I can't remember what the creatures were , but i do remember the boss was a very big alien that eventually extended the game so we have to buy more machines to kill it . when we succeed in killing it , the game plays the ending scene and that's it. the game gives you the choice to pick the difficulty if i remember correctly. I really loved it till my family went seperated and i have to leave everything behind . the game used to bring me joys . whoever's reading this , thanks and i hope you somewhat know about it , please notify me if you have any clues , i appreciate it.
p/s : i played the game on kindle fire , i think it has singleplayer mode and it's a strategy game.

I have no idea about the name of the game you're describing, but the genre should be "tower defense". The problem with identifying your game, is that there are tons of "tower defense" games, and most do have aliens as invaders.

Isn't the Kindle a Android device? Your game description fits typical Android games.

I'm early 80s but I managed to play most famous and infamous coin eating arcades of the golden age

I heard that video games arcades are still big in some parts of Asia. I spent some coin on them when I was a kid - but not too much - maybe I wasn't good enough / didn't care enough (I'm not very 'competition minded' [scoreboards]) / or noticed the coin-eating gameplay mechanics. ;-)

Do you remember a favorite? Arcades were 'limited' in the small town where I lived. I remember liking Asterix, Golden Axe, Altered Beast, Terminator, Mortal Kombat,...)

Edit: Oh, and Outrun! Once in a blue moon, I try a racing game... out of nostalgia I guess... but I usually lose interest after 10 minutes or so.

A trip to Japan is worth it because of those geesens alone (geesen = game centre).


Protip: The best geesens are not located in Tokyo. Oh yeah, OutRun what a game.

It would be a bit challenging to find the original OutRun machines anymore, maybe not impossible, but you can easily find at least OutRun 2 arcade machines in Japan.

There are even some in Europe, although I don't how many.
Few years ago there was one at Liseberg in Gothenburg, whether it is still there, I don't know.

Cyberpunk 2077 is pretty old by now too; it was released in a different decade! :-P

If you are taking Yamanote line or whatever during rush hours, you are kind of asking for unpleasant experiences.

But you can easily find areas in Japan where you really don't see almost anyone at all. I have been to some amusement parks in smaller cities where I was almost the only visitor.

Even in Tokyo you can find areas with fewer people.
Go to Odaiba/Tokyo Teleport Town area, for instance. Not that much people, and very wide streets and other areas, even the train there isn't that crowded, partially because it's not operated by JR so even tourists don't necessarily go there as it isn't covered by the railpass.

There are money spending places like shopping malls there, but more importantly, some very interesting game centres, and of course Tokyo Joypolis.

But I'm sure there will be arcade games in Japan in future as well, even if the seven-floored major ones no longer exist.
Personally, I liked that place mostly from the outside. Inside the first two floors were kind of OK, with UFO catchers and gatchas, but the floors above that were really unpleasant with sweaty nerds eating snacks, smoking, and playing there for hours.

I basically grew up admiring new games at the arcades. Each year something new would make me marvel. My family could not afford to buy me many games but I could always have a few coins to "waste" in the arcades. Golden Axe was very good, I remember the excitement of finding out the the island was a huge turtle! I wasn't big on racing games but Out Run was fun, but I would prefer Chase H.Q. or other when available. Part of the fun was to go in different places and see if they had new games.
