pcfrits: I mean dead space 1 for 20 euro's? A game of 2008? Come on.
Price is, actually, normal for a DRM-Free game. Look at prices of modern games like Quantum Break. You will be very surprised. :)

actually the prices for many games are good, especially on discount. but the greediness started slowly to take over gog since 2 or 1 years. so we get nowdays shitty 10, 15 or 20$ prices for old games that should cost not more then 6$, with some exceptions for 10$. thats one of the best ways to encourage your own customers to piracy gog, good work!

If someone is interested in piracy, i doubt that they buy from GOG at all. I won't pirate GOG games. Instead, if i think that price is too high, i will just wait for a discount.
What shock me, is that people from rich countries says that prices is too high. Guys, and what then should say we, from poor countries? Where salary is much lower than yours and prices are almost the same or even higher because of import taxes?

Poeple +18 that have a job and a salary in USD or Euros, even Pounds, can never find anything expensive in this site or the other ones.

Imagine a salary in UYU.. You have to multiply each price x45 or more. THAT'S expensive.
Imagine a salary in Argentinian Pesos. THERE would be expensive. Europeans and North Americans use to fail in see the gap.

I actually "pirated" few Gog games before I came here. After leaving Steam I wasn't in a hurry joining another platform just like that. Once I found out that I don't have to rely on a client like Steam/Uplay/Epic/etc. and I can just play and enjoy games without any strings attached, that's when I came here. Ability to own the games I have bought is basically the reason I came here. Maybe owning something is bit more worth than just licensing them temporarily. Maybe that's where the price difference comes from?

Sure, people have different reasons for "piracy". But I wouldn't "pirate" Gog games now because I CAN buy (and not license) them.

What's wrong with that? I wasn't the one who resurrected the thread.

There are poor people everywhere. The number of poor people per capita is higher in some countries than in others; yes. But perhaps the problem is that you and your acquaintances are the rich people, really. Or that´s what I get from your message. You might want to travel a little (something I´m sure you can afford) and visit certain cities, towns and neighbourhoods of your own rich country. And tell the people who live there, that they are privileged. I´m sure you would get some amusing answers and reactions.
