Emob78: You're making an assumption that someone needs to be in charge. The only ones really in charge are the blues at gog. So far, they've thankfully decided to have a hands off approach to the forum.
Hopefully you don't choose to make a "hands on" approach.

Regarding the games coming out on GoG : I totally agree. It's just a stream of underwhelming, overpriced indie titles nowadays. DRM-freeness is about the only thing that GoG has got left going for it.

Shame about the current mood on the GoG forums. I suppose it might help, though, if certain people didn't stir up trouble all the time.

He was acting like one of those popular kids in highschool who smacks a girls butt and gets away with it because he is popular and no one complains about the sexual assault.

1. He routinely called people "Assholes"
2. He insulted other people's mothers with very crude remarks and unfunny sex "jokes"
3. He was throwing around the word "scammer" with no proof.
4. He was acting as a forum bully.

In the corporate environment where I work at, a handsome 6 foot tall former high school jock routinely gets away with doing things that are downright sexual harassment and passive-aggressive bullying of shorter weaker males. Almost everyone just turns a blind eye to his indiscretions because of his popular reputation.

The only thing you can do is just suck it up, keep a low profile, do your job and get the hell out of there.
I'm 5'8" have zero athletic ability. :D
Though I did lose my virginity to the Valedictorian which was nice. :P

well personally i dont mind all these expensive games to arrive at GoG, cause these are on any site selling games, steam, gamersgate and others have very expensive games.

No one forces us to buy these expensive games, besides, most of those expensive games are new games and 95% of these wont even run on my old pc on minimum requirements, so even if i would see a game i like my old pc would not be able to run it.

Anyway, i have so many good old games still to play (100 or so) so i would have plenty to play even if there would not arrive a good old game or new game for 2 years in a row.
I also have 99 casual games (of the 400) i still haven't played yet.

It's not so much the expense I'm bothered about (although Paradox can go jump in a lake with their prices), it's the type of game which is appearing on GoG lately. Call me superficial but I would like to see something like the early Total War games on here, rather than an endless procession of "meh" indie titles. Say what you like about the AAA era of PC gaming, there are some absolute corkers of games which for some reason or other have not appeared here yet.

JDelekto: Well, I moved down to Florida back in 1995 and have been down here since. That particular election sort of gave the state a bit of a stigma, not to mention several other wonderful events that unfolded over time, such as finding out the terrorists that flew into the twin towers were trained to fly down here.

Aside from that, my parents tried to dissuade me from moving here because Florida has "hurricanes". Since I've been here, Floyd skirted close by one year and Wilma came close enough in 2005 to require minor repairs among having the power out for about three days.

Have to admit, the weather has been pretty nice down here lately.
You haven't heard of Hurricane Andrew or Ivan? Andrew was quite nasty and left quite a few people homeless...
