tinyE: Now I'm off to try to get Abigail to marry me. Her purple hair drives me wild! :P

doronnorod: Who is Abigail ? Another one of your blow-up-dolls ?

Hope you found that funny and made your sad day a little brighter.
Actually, yes. :D

Glad it was sorted. Found it really weird he of all people got picked on ---- even funnier to find anyone who got offended by comments he makes (he is hilarious!!) :D

Tauto: That's an idea, all complain at the same time and get a person warned...wait..But don't tell a friend that they are going overboard with ''their'' remarks, just join in and gang up on the person....wait.....Isn't that bullying and being unfair nah, that's just Gog's forum working in harmony. You all labeled me a troll for what, having the balls to fight back harder and give better and act on their weaknesses, that they stated in posts to the forum.Maybe some things about private or personal life should stay that way and not be posted for someone like me to better you.Yes,I got a warning and made it my job to do the same to that person. If you think the OP is a Mr Nice Guy then unfortunately there is a lot of naive people here that are very unfair when taking a person's side in things they say.I did not abuse their family, but the person themselves and everyone bagged me and yet I'm sure that most of you would not tolerate insults to your family.Be honest for a change and don't just run with the sheep but have some back bone and step in and stop it before it gets out of hand.I have always stood up for the victim of bullying and it is my nature to go for the throat (so to speak) and I will not back down for nothing or nobody.
HANDS DOWN the best post here.

Nobody notices or maybe chooses to ignore that tinyE's behaviors was getting out of control.

1. He routinely called people "Assholes"
2. He insulted other people's mothers with very crude remarks and unfunny sex "jokes"
3. He was throwing around the word "scammer" with no proof.
4. He was acting as a forum bully.

I did not believe in karma until now. Looks like someone got too sensitive to his posts, reported him and the heavy hand of moderators destroyed his ego.

Maybe they were trying.to pull an April fools day prank by sending a false warning to tinyE. :P

Apocalypse avoided... for now.

Wait..."

No it's not. That's not the issue. I guess this is something that only a programmer or sysadmin would understand. I've tried to explain this before and the person said the same thing. The system I'm proposing handles this, no problem.

Here's the dichotomy :
- Different logins, same IP -> Sockpuppet
- Different IP's -> Same Login -> Person logging in from different site.

Dynamic IP's aren't as dynamic as you think btw. Check your external IP sometime and track it. This is day one networking knowledge.

Hahaha.

People really need a thick skin to use forums. Guess some people get offended too easily these days....:)
Maybe GoG ought to look at who all these complaints came from. Draw the lines between the many alts and ban all of them. Now that would be justice...

Aren´t you implying it has something to do with tinyE´s colour are you? ;P

darthspudius: Fun novelty, the only time you see him get positive rep! :P

Breja: I'm so glad that instead of getting rid of the useless rep system GOG first blocked saying "fuck" in capital letters and then almost banned tinyE. Truly they are heroes of the Republic.
They where piecing together a complex cryptogram puzzle giveaway and you just ruined the two-word guesses.

For that Gog would need to acknowledge their own forum, we have a new community manager and yet i don't see him active on the forum as for example Judas. If he is going to follow Ciris footsteps as a facebook/twitter/contests machine then don't even bother getting a community manager.

Edit: To be fair, Konrad, if you ever get to read this, here's something that anyone can manage to do and it would help everyone, make a thread (not us) where you can discuss with us the current situation of the forum, don't do the Ciris BULLSHIT answer with "Ohhhhh, in order to do that we need someone from support, someone from accounting, the janitor, the guy that refills the snack machine, etc, so... yeah... bye!!!", just communicate, interact with us, this thread could have been avoided if something like that existed...

This cannot be stressed enough. My so-called "dynamic IP" from my ISP not only did not change for almost half a year of tracking, it also persisted despite numerous modem reboots during the tracking period. Basically if your ISP says they are using a dynamic system, it just means that your IP can change, not that it actually does on a regular basis.
The wonders of hand's on moderation at work, you're not always going to agree with who or what gets warned, banned or locked.

This time it was tinyE, but I wonder if someone that isn't as prominent and outspoken were similarly warned or outright banned for whatever reason, if a significant number of users would react this way or at all, if we would even know it happened, and more importantly, if it hasn't happened already.
i thought i was one of tiny's troll thread, but shit actually was legit,
not to worry gog doesnt give a damn about the forum to ban anyone
