Most of the historical issues with Kinguin are because of Kinguin. That's not an unreasonable presumption to make.

If Dredge is available on GOG directly, why do people have to go through Kinguin to buy it? The extra headache or worry that the game might disappear in a few months is not worth the extra amount one saves through Kinguin even if it's something as low as 0.5% (estimated) of the site selling fraudulent keys, especially GOG users who presumably prioritize game ownership. Anyone with an average salary wouldn't take the extra risk.

Plus, there's other moral issues like devs not being paid fairly (even if some of them are selling through G2A since the cuts are higher for personal gain) and exploiting regional pricing. Ethically and morally, you might as well sail the 7 seas instead if cannot afford buying from GOG directly.

You're implying buying from Kinguin is safe from buying hundreds of keys despite it not being so. Otherwise, you wouldn't have mentioned it. It doesn't change my argument in any way.

Again, buying from community marketplaces for used goods runs the same risks. Why buy used anything then?

The intersting thing though, is that the OP has the game in his library as others keep typing and has had it for quite some time. He, as we say, got his problem solved then dipped/bounced like a smart lad. So, he's probably content at the moment. That's exactly why the OP had problems with Dredge...because GOG can't handle Prime codes well. It wasn't Kinguin....this time.

It was an issue with GOG's backend. Happened with actual games bought from GOG too, but the NPCs in this thread don't want to acknowledge that lol

I never stated they did, in fact, I've been pretty clear that not ALL keys will work/are legit, multiple times. If you two are just going to make strawman after strawman, arguing against stuff I've NEVER stated in this thread, then I'm done. You both still have yet to make actual rebuttals against my arguments comparing G2A, Kinguin, to sites like Craigslist, and ignore evidence proving my claims.

I don't want any part of any debate because I'm not in that kind of mood. However, what is the difference in buying a key from a reseller as opposed to accepting a key from a community sponsored giveaway? We don't know where they got those codes, whether the gifter is reputable, whether a publisher/dev got paid, etc. You could end up getting screwed by the "community" just as easily. I see a lot of misplaced faith and hope because almost everyone here will glady take community giveaway keys.
