So, tonight, let's see.
We lunched at a big table in a small appartment, with the cute actress from The Europa Report. She had one side of her face cut and acid-burned by some maniac. We were convincing her that she was still very beautiful, which was true. [This is probably a consequence of having half-watched the Niki Lauda biopic "Rush" yesterday].
Then i had to investigate a murder in a company building. We were suspecting one of the victim's horrible coworkers [modelled after some horrible lady i've faced] but i finally found the culprit outside, in the town by the sea. She was a cute-ish girl, who had killed the victim because she was as terrible a person as the original suspect. We became lovers, but had lots of arguments about murder. I was trying to convince her that, while it's okay to wish someone dead or even hope for it or rejoice for it, it is not okay to actually kill a person. And i was trying to convince her to never do it again, even though i had no intention to denounce her.
Then there was this conflict at the turkish/russian border. Russia was building military installations on small islands right at the turkish black sea shore, it looked like a rush from both nations to occupy the 'tiles' of the area with turrets-like giant cannons [on the map it looked a bit gamey, but the actual issue is happening between greece -an orthodox country like russia- and turkey in the aegean, so i guess this was the main inspiration]. In order to impress Russia, Turkey launched a demonstration exercise where missiles and planes would shoot to the sea and turn around and target the turkish shore while the turkish defenses would easily shoot them all down. Well, it went a bit wrong, as one shot plane crashed into a huge ancient glorious cathedral palace thing in the turkish harbour city, accidentally demolishing the century old marvel, and it was a big wide international facepalm moment about the idiocy of politicians and generals [both were designated as responsible for the apocalypse in the "Wasteland 2" intro, also seen yesterday, which had struck me as slightly populist in the way it absolved the populations themselves... The isis destruction of ancient monuments may be another inspiration].
Then for some reason, i had to leave the hotel room i was renting [it may have to do with the noisy renovations in the appartment below], but to my surprise i was given in compensation a higher and much more comfy room with a nice view on the sea. I was walking in the street with a blurry-identity girl who may have been the already mentionned killer or my ex-gf, and i walked ahead to my place. There i met my best friend, who had the keys to my former room, didn't see me in it, and took the initiative to climb out through the balconies to my new place. It was fun, but i was a bit worried at the thought of still having the keys to that older place, and therefore having to pay for it aswell. The girl joined us in, she was now my ex-gf clearly (as opposed to the cute-ish culprit character of the earlier part) and was as beautiful as ever, which i was admitting even though the feeling of love was (and is) gone [interestingly enough, what split us was both geographical/material aspects, and very strong ethical oppositions, so she may have been partly represented by that girl all the time, which would explain the confusing identity swap].
So, that's it for tonight's second half. I unfortunately remember nothing of my dreams from the first half of the night.
But yeah, i have generally busy dreams. I generally wake up to take a break from all this stuff.
