So I had a strange dream about a zombie apocalypse last night. Basically it took place where I live (Melbourne), there was zombies but they were really fast, like faster than humans, kinda like lickers from Resident Evil but walking on two legs. I was trapped in the auditorium at UNIMELB (University of Melbourne) with other people and the doors had been barracaded. And there was this "super zombie", which (I guess) was intelligent, it was like the God zombie, it just had to walk near people and automatically all the blood in the body of a person would just come out there mouth/nose and float through the air coming back to the super zombie and going into his body. He could just walk through the area and everyone within a hundred meters or whatever got there blood sucked out.

And after that I somehow made it to an airport of some kind, there were heaps of people there trying to escape because at any second the whole airport would be overrun by the zombies. Anyway they only had one aircraft, which was this weird naval helicopter thing (an Osprey maybe?) which was only going to take important people (like government I guess), it could only seat a few people, somehow I managed to get a seat on this helicopter along with the important people. As it was flying over I could see masses of people desperately running as the zombies chased them, people in boats trying to escape. I had this weird feeling of relief at that time because I was safe and snug in the helicopter while below everyone was being eaten and stuff.

The next part was when the helicopter took us to what was a secret base hidden inside a mountain, it was up really high in the clouds. Inside the base it was like the nicest building you have ever seen, like it was huge with like marble floors but also really modern with glass and stuff, as in it would of costs billions to make. I don't remember much of this except that they were doing experiments with the zombies/virus here, they had zombies in containment rooms. And they gave us people special private rooms which were really nice with our own computer and internet connection and everything we needed.

This was probably the most vivid dream I've had in a long time. Have any of you guys every had a really vivid dream, what was it like?
My vivid dreams usually involved plane crashes.

For many years I'd wake up before the plane crashed; I think that's how it works for most people who have crash dreams. The past few years the plane has actually crashed and we've survived; been several times where we're going to land short and the pilot finds a narrow strip through the trees, barely wide enough for the fuselage. Had one where it was similar but the trees were actually lining the runway. Don't ask me - I just watch the dreams, not write them. Haha. After the crash the dream usually goes into some worry about my luggage in the cargo hold and how I need it badly. Basically, plane crash anxiety (which I don't really have, except in dreams) turned into "Oh crap - I need my luggage!" anxiety.

Almost punched my (then) fiancee because of a dream - weird dream about running with the bulls, with them turning into pit bulls (or some other dogs) and attacking me. Took a real-life hard swing to fend them off. Good thing she was on the other side of the bed, else I likely wouldn't be married to her today!

I do it all the time and worst part is when I'm halfway through describing it to someone and think to myself, "This seemed a lot more exciting when I was actually dreaming it." :P
I think the exception is when Freddy Krueger shows up in your dream.

Then millions of people stand in line to shell out 8 bucks to hear about it.

Internet connection and no one to talk too?

I happen to have ordered a shirt version of your dream last week.

I never remember my dreams. Sometimes I wake up feeling the last slips of the dream escaping from my memory.

Heh, the dreams I have aren't nearly as interesting.

For the ones I can remember, just doing mundane everyday things most of the time. It's always normal everyday situations, with the off thing here or there. I find it hard to believe it was a dream though.

However, I think I vaguely remember dreaming about having a dream about something once, if that makes any sense.
I once had a dream in which I went around and wrote my name on the inside of people's shoes, until my crush caught me doing it. I tried to play it off as "just a thing that I do". I must've been about 9 at the time.

Regrettably I've only had two dreams in which I could fly, at least that I can remember.

Can't speak for anyone else, but dang - those are the best!
I'll skip the unexciting parts.

My favorite dream was when I was chased by hordes of armed dudes for no apparent reason, occasionally getting cornered and having to fight them to death. Eventually I was struck by a knife and saw "green" blood squirt from my body. At that point I realized I was some sort of evil creature all along, and happily accepted death :)

Edit: I have to say that this wasn't fun at all, the fight-or-flight response was kicking all the way, and I was scared shitless when I woke up.

I'm just surprised his dream didn't include throwing women into gas chambers. He must have been very dissappointed.

Definitely! Failing that, running dreams can also fun, where you just run around everywhere at the speed of a highway car. I've had more of those. At least when something isn't chasing you :P
Could be a decent Hollywood plot.
