If you look at the screenshot, there are some things going on that don't make sense. The screenshot is of my game page, and it is page ONE lest anyone think otherwise, I just don't know how to make a screenshot that shows the whole page and thus you could see the page number at the bottom.
But I choose OLDEST FIRST to sort by, and lo and behold one of the first games listed, IN THE VERY FIRST ROW, is Cyberpunk 2077. I circled the number of games just to point our that there is no way on this green earth that Cyberpunk 2077 is anywhere near the oldest, neither in terms of the game itself (which would be when it was released right?) nor in terms of when I purchased it. In fact, though I'm not 100% certain of this, in terms of release date Cyberpunk 2077 may be, and likely is, the NEWEST game I own and thus should be absolutely last, on the very last page, not the first.
I've tried sorting by all of the options and it appears to me that none of them are accurate. Okay, so gog's website can be a bit of a mess and I think we all knew that. But sorting, it seems to me, should be an easy task for a computer to handle. Is this the best gog can do after all of these years? Or would there answer be that well if you buy 1500 plus games you'll just have to deal with it.... which would seem incredibly shortsighted it seems to me. I would think they would WANT lots of people to own thousands of games. WTF is going on?
Also note the purple dot. Now this did in fact use to work properly. The purple dot would be there when in fact I did have an unseen forum replay. But that purple dot is now there ALL THE TIME. I mean jeez... instead of things improving it gets worse?
Come on gog, up your game a bit. I've been here since almost the beginning and it's been and remains my favorite place to buy games. DRM Free should be an industry wide standard and not just a policy by one web store selling games. But even though we support you. believe deeply in DRM Free, and may own many, many games, you WILL lose current and potential customers if you don't improve things. And I hate that. I just don't understand why any for profit company would be so cavalier in the quality of the product they put before the buying public.
I write all of this to, ONCE AGAIN (I've posted similar threads in the past) plead with you to once and for all make a choice.... decide whether you want to operate a web store or you don't. And if you do, then do what any other for profit business in the world would do, and put forth the absolute best product that you can before the buying public. I'm no programmer or IT guy in any way, but I am a consumer with lots of experience with web stores selling products and I know in my heart that you can do better than this. So either decide you want to have a web store and make it the best you can possible make it... or just close the damn thing down. Because even though I've posted threads like this before, this will be the last one. If things don't improve, then you are going to lose at least one very good customer who has supported you for almost the entire time you've been here.\\
Thanks for all the good times and great games, but it's time to pick up your game.
