Whenever I try to download a game I can't, because it's saying completed immediately(but it's just creating an empty folder). I reinstall GoG Downloader few times that doesn't solved the problem. Reinstalled all vcredists it doesn't worked out too. I searched whole forum but couldn't find a solution. I would like to get some help :)

Can one of you young'uns tell me if GOG downloader is even a thing by this point. I'm confused and this probably isn't even my lawn you're supposed to get off of.
I gave up on it a while ago.

I refuse to go the Galaxy route so I'm using DownLoadThemAll and it's working great.

I tried complete install that didn't worked too. Thank you for trying to help :)
Browser download FTW. Been working for decades and will continue to work until they every onto their godawaful clientware.
Go into settings and change the folder path to another one and see if it helps.
What OS are you on?

And have you checked the log file? The info in there may help us help you resolve the issue.

With the dev back in action and python 3 coming this is the only way until GOG fixes Galaxy and lets use choose a download location... which they removed :(

You can try to extract it's setup via innoextract (Just drag and drop).
And then run it as a compatibility mode.
Honestly I'm surprised that it only just stopped working. They announced they were dropping support for it ages ago.

Not sure if it's the same but In Win 7 it's in C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\GOG.com

I often have the same problem and what I do to fix it is to close GOGDownloader completely (by using the exit button) then I delete the log file at the above location and then try downloading again. This always clears any problems for me and allows downloads again - until the next time and I have to do it again! Hope this helps.

Yes. So much for 'Galaxy will always be optional'.

But luckily for me the Downloader still works.
