I have a 1280x1024 screen and the window is so largest. I can't see all content of any way. Can any one help me?

Is it possible to upscale your screen?
...Is this a laptop, or do you have a monitor that's nearly 20 years old? Cause my Dell P2417H can handle bog standard 1080. And that was made in 2016. (Thought it appears they're still making it.)

Well there's still something weird going on here, because on my 1080p desktop I can definitely shrink the Galaxy window plenty. It would definitely fit on a 1280x1024 monitor.

I’m gaming even today on a screen that has a native resolution of 1280×1024. I would have loved getting an upgrade to a screen with a native resolution of 1600×1200, but it seems these are no longer sold…

Not everyone followed the trend of 16:9 screens (I really dislike this ratio), and it’s only recently that game developers started to drop support for 4:3 / 5:4 aspect ratios. Of course it will only get worse in time, so I will probably not be able to delay the buy of some 1920×1080 screen for much longer.

Okay, why don't you like this aspect ratio? Our eyes have a oval sight profile, so a rectangle is the next nearest fit. Aside from a rhombus, but that's really a different pile of ananas.

I would like to help but I don't have a monitor like that to test it and see if it works.

5:4 is a cursed ratio. When I got stuck with a 5:4 TFT it was awful - most games when set to 1280x1024 just stretch a 4:3 viewport vertically. The opposite problem from "fat Doomguy".

The only game I remember making good use of it was Rollercoaster Tycoon.

I play mostly strategy games and other games with a top-down perspective. In such cases, a viewport close to a square gives a much better play experience.

Outside of games, I spend a lot of time reading and writing on screen (mostly writing code). Wide ratios are not ideal for that either.

Alright, fine. So why not 9:16? Many monitors can be rotating accordingly.

I can understand how some graphics professionals would have a use for such monitors in portrait mode, but I fail to see any way it would be useful in my case (software development, communication, and video games).

Wasted vertical space instead of wasted horizontal space does not sound like a real benefit ;P

What, do you want hexagonal screens?

No, I want a 1600×1200 screen (4:3), and I want game developers to remember how to support this ratio ;P
16:9 is probably nice for people using their computer mostly to watch videos (or play "cinematic" video games), but I’m not one of them.
