It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

gamesfreak64: They said they are aware so please be patient and let them solve this.
Causing a commotion wont benefit anyone.

NEO117: It's kinda hard not to get frustrated when support just goes with the "durrr hurr works for me. Must be your browser :^)" answer. You guys have been more helpful already, and didn't take a whole 24 hours to reply.

tinyE: Before anyone goes to war with GOG, I just bought a game from EA, and it doesn't work. Point being? Everyone has bugs, at least GOG TRIES to fix them. :D Like gamesfreak said, be patient. :D

Of course now that I think about it, and looking at his avatar, the 2600 really didn't have any major bugs, did it? Even their controllers were more solid than anything you'll find today.

NEO117: Buying from EA? Not in a million years. I'm still salty about Bullfrog, and Westwood, and Bioware, and Dungeon Keeper, and Origin... Annnnd yeah. Not in a gorillion years.

In all seriousness though, no one is trying to go to war with GoG. They're awesome in their philosophy, but I just can't excuse such a problem being present since last week and just in time for a sale too. Then support kinda just brushes me off instead of ACTUALLY telling me that there is indeed an issue.
PANDEMIC
The problem is their site code, not our browser's / OS's / Computers etc.

They know it should be fixed as selling stuff is their activity so makes sense they must be working into fixing it.
I think I'll open another support ticket listing to this thread just so they're aware of what's going on. They most likely are at this point but just to be safe.

And I almost forgot about Pandemic. :(

And Maxis is dead as of today... Another victim of EA Games: Murder everything.

Someone submit a list of countries/states/regions with this issue. Is it a country-specific bug or general issue?

Part of South America.

It's weird. Just South America?

From what I've seen.
Now Chrome is going the way of Firefox, intermittently.

I assume the attached "swing and a miss" message means that one of the checkout failures was actually a critical hit.

I just got the same swing and miss with Pier Solar. Looks like a glitch for that game only. I don't think it's related to not being able to buy, since I could buy the game normally for full price.

Your problem isn't related at all to the loop were are facing.

The problem you are facing is simple: HTML5 code and browsers that interpret code that doesn't exist rather than force developers to write a complete code. So, don't complain on GOG but Apple and Google for HTML5.

DISCLAIMER: HTML5 is cool, lots of improvements, but could be better.

Not just South America, Canada, too. Tried it on Firefox 36.0 and Epiphany (Web) 3.14.2 on Arch Linux, using kernel 3.18.6.

In Firefox the checkout page does not load correctly, and the game I'm trying to buy, Knights of the Old Republic II, isn't even part of the current sales. In Epiphany, the buttons for logging in and signing up are just missing, so I can't even get as far as the checkout.

36.0 works for me in Ubuntu. Mystery!

Unless you played Decathlon. :)

Decathlon could kill any joystick. Except possibly The Arcade. You could beat a grizzly bear to death with that thing and it would still work. Best damn joystick ever made.
