There seems to be a lot of "just go to battle.net" xyz. However you need to signup to an account there no? Think I will stick with my disc images thank you, works fine.
If you manage to get it playing, start a ladder char and pm me! I am a great necro (curse and summon) and i can be of help (curses break immunities)!

Other than that, make a battlenet account and redeem your physical disc's code in it. That version is SecuRom free. And better customized for "modern" systems.

Darvin: FYI, Blizzard lets you claim a free digital version if you've still got your serial key from your physical copy.
Oh, that's interesting. How does it work?
I still got retail versions with valid keys of Starcraft: Broodwar, Diablo 2 - LoD and Warcraft 3 + Frozen Throne and would like to have a digital version of those since I've already encountered a broken Diablo 2 disc once.
I forgot about that, and just claimed the codes on my Diablo II battle chest box! Thanks :D
