before you say anything yes i've tried to go to task manager but there is no gog process or task to end so that wont fix my issue

Are you trying to download your games? You don't need galaxy for that.

Just go to your account, and download the installers from there. ( :

I agree, if Galaxy doesn't work for you just don't use it. It's still in beta anyways so there is bound to be lots of issues.

Try rebooting your system, it's worked for me when Galaxy failed to start.
