With all respect, CD projekt RED, I am deeply dissapointed with GOG Galaxy.

Originally, I decided to go for GOG because I dont like the idea of Steam that you dont really own the games that you buy. I wanted Steam to have a competition. But what happened to GOG? What happened to the games?

Each time my PC starts, there is a problem. The same one for about 2 years now. GOG Galaxy - update problem. There was a problem with updating the application. You can always download the latest version from ... well, I did download the latest version, but the problem was not fixed.

I loved Witcher III and spend over 400 hours in it. But, each time I tried to sync my saves to cloud, it did not work. From the very point I purchased the game. Even when I manually deleted all the saves and only had one in the game.

I did not consider this a big deal, and I felt like being kind and decided to pre-order Cyberpunk for full price, so all the money would go to you. And it was a disaster. It was so laggy and buggy, even during the cutscenes the game would actually stop. Without any error message, without any warning. So I did only spend about one hour on the game and then gave up.

Then, when I wanted to relive Witcher III with the next gen update ... well. The game crashed after just launch! And I posted a topic here asking for help, you deleted my topic and did not even bother to answer or to suggest a fix.

My wishlist shows that I wish one game, but when I click on it, it is empty. I know that this originates in a Hitman game I wished, but you removed it. Because it required online connection to play it and you decided to stop selling the game, but only after a massive wave of complains. But why does the GOG Galaxy be so buggy and broken that it does not even allow to remove the game from wishlist? Why wont you improve anything? All the errors were reported here in forum at some point, yet you did not fix them for a very long time?

Now, with about 2 years of having a error message after each computer launch, I am giving up on you.

Is this only Galaxy or website issue? I only buy games from the website.

The "missing wishlist entry" problem is a common error. When a game gets removed from the store, it remains on the wishlist.

I solved that problem using this info:

https://www.gog.com/forum/general_beta_gog_galaxy_2.0/one_game_on_wishlist_but_wishlist_empty
This bug was fixed.

Also you could ignore it and use the client to download offline installers without issue.

Also also the client is optional.

2.0.60.2 is the latest version and it dates back to February 28th. Your GOG Galaxy shouldn't be still trying to update if that's the version you have. I suggest doing a clean install. As described in the directions, you can backup your data beforehand in case there's anything you're missing after.

Make sure the LSASS.exe Windows service has Internet access.

Though unless you play the same games on multiple devices, I suggest disabling Cloud Saves under cogwheel - Settings - Game Features.

Clicking this link should remove it from your wishlist: gog.com/user/wishlist/remove/1389434554

If that's not it, see my aforementioned directions in the GOG Galaxy forum.

This isn't a GOG Galaxy problem, by the way. The website is also affected. They simply don't handle wishlisted items that are no longer in the store, so they become invisible in the wishlist.

Preaching to the choir. The working theory is that they're understaffed.

Ice_Mage: ... snip ...
Thank you for the instructions about removing the phantom Wishlist entries from Galaxy.

I had 5 games not showing there and it was also nice to learn which games they were (Cyberpunk 2077, Metal Wolf Chaos and three different BattleTech Pre-order packages for some reason).

^__^
I have to disagree, for the time I been here, Galaxy work really well for me, I'm satisfied. But that's on my experience.
On Cyberpunk defense, I played the game before many patches and the game wasn't as broken as many people said. Yeah it has some bugs but that's a pretty standard for an open world game, I've played Fallout 3 on day one and not so long ago, many bugs are still present, yet nobody is burning them on a stick.Same with STALKER and many others.
I had plenty of crashes at the beginning with TW3 Next Gen, yet the original is still present in any case, now is more stable with the patches.

Yes, Galaxy has been half-cooked for a long time now and who knows if it's going to get better, the website is falling apart as well, GOG's communication is basically limited to "hey, check this new game/sale", the experience for non-galaxy users is also not the greatest... the whole thing is in less-than-stellar condition.

As Ice Mage and others said in a separate thread, GOG is likely heavily understaffed, especially after CDPR moved a lot of people to their main teams after the major losses of a while ago. It sucks, but it's what we have for the time being.

Best to keep enjoying the DRM-Free aspect and try to see if someone at CDPR listens, but I am not sure I'd hold my breath waiting for that.
