Where is the logic in allowing political posts/promo's/bundles/sales/etc, then removing, banning or locking the obvious discussion that follows?

Just guessing but I assume because the discussions involve people being passionate, defensive and easily hurt at the same time all at once; spiraling any discussion down into making all (or at least a lot) people involved feel bad?

Stay with fictional politics; thats more fun & not against any rules :P (... I hope; gog became really weird in the last few years).

Great Swedish band indeed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWtUwn4LJyg
It's a tricky topic, the problem is they have a number of threads that go into politics by default, yet are barely touched upon by mods and when it has been the reasoning is errr mixed?

I saw a few of the posts before they were deleted on the bundle post, a fair few were pretty much breaching COC and blasting straight into soapbox preaching.

Not really sure why they would say 'it makes our work much easier' mind, being active and engaging with users makes the job easier, not relying on people PM'ing you every time there's an issue.

It's not a easy topic to mod, but it would make more sense to simply lock the post and keep the OP post there, rather than two posts that offer no context post-modding!

You're missing the point. Why allow it, and even post it themselves, then lock, censor, and ban the topic when people express their opinion about said topic?

Also, the hypocrisy in allowing the OP, or one side, to post political topics, but not any other side..

In my opinion, anything that turns into political discussion should just be locked down. I have very strong political opinions but I do my best to keep them out of this forum because I come here to discuss games. Games are one of my escapes from real-world garbage, the last thing I want is to find more of it within.

Yes, Johhny Kettlehands!
If anything, Cyberpunk is making a statement against our current society.

Attention seeking or PR, in other words.

By being one of the most highly marketed products in the last few years, including major brand deals with some of the largest corporations in the world. Gotcha!

Brittney Spears promoted Pepsi, but she also drank coke

Those have a blue dot instead of the green.

Obviously. I have no idea what topic that was and the only recent locked topics I see are not from gog and the only political hot potato among them is the Palestine thread. And thats not about a gog bundle.

I am guessing it’s the same hipocrisy that put GabeN on the front page of FCKdrm site, and all that lovely drm in their parent companies (CDPR) abomination of a product Cyberpunked 2021.

Marketing is hardly hypercapitalism. When I use that term, I'm talking about legitimate, modern megacorps, not specifically all companies that are larger than small businesses.
