DoomSooth: The account was created, or I wouldn't have been able to use Ivan at all. Ivan works with Galaxy but not without.
Just retested it. You are completely right. The moment you actually disable the Galaxy service access to Ivan is locked completely - even in single player. Did not notice because I thought simply quitting the client would be enough to test it - apparently that was not the case.

I even bought it from... the other place to see if Ivan works offline. It doesn't. Oh, well. Only cost a little more than a dollar. Turns out it uses the exact same save directory. In any case, I hope they do something so that we can still play Ivan after the servers shut down.

I guess I already mentioned it (or was that in the German forum?) - anyway, Ii've contacted the publisher and the customer support on wargaming.net ... so far no reply. This is even more worrysome since they state in their FAQ that they won't react anymore to Hybrid Wars tickets after the 30th. So if they won't reply until then I doubt we will get such an update. However it MIGHT be that the online part of the general server wargaming.net remains functioning and that they only shut down the Hybrid Wars specific server ... so it could be that Ivan will stay unlocked whenever you are online even though the MP server for Hybrid Wars has been shut down. Anyway, my guess is as good as anybodys so let's just hope.

SmollestLight: We’d like to inform you that Hybrid Wars will be delisted from our catalog this Tuesday, April 28th, 3pm UTC.

For everyone who purchased it prior to delisting, the game will remain in their GOG library.

Lifthrasil: Thanks for the warning! But:
It has been requested often, but I'll just repeat it: could you please classify threads, in which you warn of de-listings, as News-threads? As regular threads they always get lost in the host of other regular threads.

Not that I personally lament the de-listing of this specific game (on the contrary), but for future de-listings of other games it would be a customer friendly service to make the warning more visible.
From now on we will "sticky" the Delisting Posts so they are visible on the top of the forum for visibility until they are delisted.
very appreciated!
