tokisto: Yeah, too cheap... And I love it!
There's a reason it's low... you don't have to BTA to get anything so there's nothing to drive the average up. There's probably the usual people paying a fair price and then normally all the guys who'd pay just enough to beat the average are just paying $1... =(

If it had been me organising it, I would have put one of the two games as a BTA bonus.

mondo84: Alan Wake Collection

Wow.

SirPrimalform: That is... an amazing deal. The average is criminally low.
Poor devs. Sales like this devalue games remarkably :/

Aye, given that there's no reason to beat the average (other than not being a dick) you can be sure that steam key traders will be stocking up on $1 keys (well 50c keys really since it's two games).

If you watch the video, they say that their doing it on purpose. The game has sold, Alan Wake 2 isn't coming soon, but their new XBOX ONE project is coming soon. So it's huge advertising and they're getting their name out there for cheap/small profit. Besides, anyone who wanted to buy the game at retail price has bought it (aside from a few folks, probably). This way, Alan Wake 2, when/if it does finally arrive, will have been played by many. And their new project will be even more widely known.

This is what I find most upsetting. It's not illegal to do this, at least where I live, but it leaves the taste of bile in my mouth. When is profiteering ever a good thing?

P.S. Some people paid $500 for this bundle. Um, wat? Is it a potential tax write off? Microsoft surely isn't in need of charity...

You mean Remedy? I'm pretty sure Microsoft isn't a part of this bundle...

Looks like Microsoft isn't the publisher everywhere. I just copy and pasted this from Wikipedia.

Xbox 360
Microsoft Game Studios

Microsoft Windows
NA Remedy Entertainment
AU Microsoft Game Studios
EU Nordic Games Publishing
JP E-Frontier
I guess Max Payne was out of the question, due to R*, but they could have added Death Rally to lower tier and bumped one of the others to BTA. It does feel too cheap like this.

Interesting, I did not know that, but I think the money just goes to the Developer, the Publisher has nothing to do with Humble Bundles.
Well, I hope their next Quantum Leap XONE have a good sales...
Really humble developer...

Hope this means we'll see the OST and all of this other bonus content make it on here some day
Remedy's next game is on the Crossbone? That can't be good, especially if they have to keep the game on that platform exclusively - odds are that platform is going to crash and burn, which may just take Remedy with it.
I also only paid $1, because I already paid the full price for both games on GOG.com, and just wanted a second backup copy - also, there's supposedly some new goodies in the HIB version - I guess there are a few other people like me.

I just saw that at the moment Nordic Games is the top contributor with 1,000$ - you would think they already have their copies, given that they published the PC version. :p
Douplepost, fuck yeah!

New one is out.
Back to the Future: The Game
Sam & Max: Devil's Playhouse
Poker Night at the Inventory
Hector: Badge of Carnage!
Puzzle Agent 1 & 2
Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures (Windows only!)
BTA: The Walking Dead (Steam only!)

Meh. Already got the 3 older Telltale games, not interested in a DRMed TWD.
Never heard of the other 3 games, are they any good?
