I was trying to figure what it was myself, and it's kind of confusing, at least compared to other gaming clients. According to the Wikipedia page: "Curse has several primary functions, the most notable of which include an add-on and modification service called Curse Client for such games as World of Warcraft, Rift, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Terraria, Kerbal Space Program, and Minecraft, a collection of over 500 gaming wikis (many of which are official) known as Gamepedia, and a Voice Over IP (VOIP) service called Curse Voice."

So... I guess the client is just to load mods/add-ons for games you already own? Kind of niche, but as I posted in the Gaming Deals thread, the 30-day premium subscription on the $6 Humble Weekly tier may include a free GOG game from a list of 10 possible games. No idea if it actually requires installing the client or requires a credit card on file.

Trid: I guess it depends, for example Edge of Space and Darkout are on my wishlist from some time, Signs of Life look promising, if I was not broke I would consider to pick that one. 1st tier is not that special as most of the games were in other bundles alrdy. From the bright side, most of them is DRM-Free. :)

There is the thing with free gog game and Curse Premium that Aniki mentioned too.
Yep, you're right but i already have most games of the first 2 tiers so it's a rather lame bundle for me. :D

I might do the same as I don't own anything from the bundle and those two games sound interesting enough for the price.

Hmm, the only one I want from this bundle that I don't already have is Darkout. I can wait, it may even show up on GOG when complete. They already sell a regular and a deluxe version on Desura of the pre-release. Of course it could go the way of Dark Matter, too...

OK. I upped my contribution to the $6 level, and got the Curse subscription thing. I downloaded the client in a windows virtual machine I have setup for this sort of stuff, and managed to redeem the GOG game code!

TL/DR - pay $6 on the Humble Weekly, and you get a coupon you can redeem for one of ten games valued up to $15!

Comments on its Steam page don't sound very encouraging regarding completion.

I don`t really know. I think so. I`ve never seen one like it - 8 characters, no dashes. The GOG gift codes that I`ve bought (which shouldn`t expire) have all been in the form of 4x4Characters separated with dashes.
